The 2021 Offseason Thread

I’m an ass, so I won’t go to the point I made back in June….. the point that Bateman seemed to be a candidate of frequent injuries…. Oh wait
 
Sorry y’all. I’m drinking today and this shit hurts a lot because I loved Bateman. Please don’t judge me based on just this.

Depends on usage. If he's playing like 80-90% of snaps, he likely will get injured. Point of brining him into this group is if he's a 50-60% player, he may be less likely for injuries

That obviously takes a hit with Bateman

+ remember that if it is bad enough that we need to worry about bateman then he'll still need to be on the initial 53 before we i/r him if we want him to return

Ftr I never once suggested we keep Boykin lol, just responding to another.

And yeah I realize I might be jumping the gun lol but I’m so sick of not having wrs why is it so goddamn hard for the ravens lol

I completely believe we are cursed from a true number 1 WR. We can have as many number 2 WRs we want and try to make them #1 WRs, but the minute we get a legit player- “ruh-roh, Raggy”

for what it's worth, brown's been doing individual stuff and sprints separately for 2 or 3 practices now - my guess is that if week 1 was tomorrow he'd be playing but it's training camp and it seems like the team is snakebitten at the moment with WR injuries so he's being eased back slowly and cautiously

What are you guys hearing about Wallace so far? Tough to ask a 4th round pick to step in right away but I'd rather see him and Duv rotate at #3 WR over Boykin

Actually wtf is up with the injuries? Am I dumb or do we usually have this many TC injuries in the first 2 weeks each year? The whole line is out, Hollywood, Boykin, Bateman, Jimmy, etc. Like what is going on?
 
Any chance this is a Jimmy situation where it looks awful, but it's not super serious? I mean Jimmy needed to get carted off, but it was just a low ankle sprain. Wishing him the best!

Does it really shock anyone that we finally put together an insanely talented roster and then get snakebitten? It feels like typical Ravens luck to me.
