The 2021 Offseason Thread

Rapoport saying its "soft tissue" and not "structural". Fingers crossed.
Thank god. Shut him down for camp and hope he’s ready week 1. Seriously.

really sucks not to get this practice time in, especially since Lamar missed 10 days. He's looked so good also. Certainly hope Rappaport is write and that it is soft tissue.

We have no fucking luck when it comes to WRs. Really hoping that it's nothing major and that he'll be able to return this season. If not, I wonder if this will inspire EDC to go after Michael Thomas. I didn't really like the idea when I read about it earlier today, but I wouldn't be opposed if the Bateman injury is that serious.

Any chance this is a Jimmy situation where it looks awful, but it's not super serious? I mean Jimmy needed to get carted off, but it was just a low ankle sprain. Wishing him the best!

that's why it's premature to lose our minds over this yet... apparently after he was helped to the sideline he tried stretching out a little and then was able to walk off under his own power (obviously limping still) - which would suggest to me that maybe it's not as bad as the images above would initially suggest...

looked like he was holding his hammy/groin and he's been dealing with issues in that part of his body earlier in camp so i wonder if this is somewhat related to that

obviously non-contact is always worrying but until we know what harbs says about it there's no point panicking

michael thomas is also injured so would be pretty pointless

So also just realized that the first cut is a week from today. It's only getting down to 85 so nothing big. But you could see some of the veterans that aren't in the plans let go at this point while the UDFAs and young guys hang around with their split salaries to finish out the preseason.

Im not a micheal thomas fan at all.. i dnt like slant boy lol

Last week it was 5-12 weeks, so now it’s between 4-11 weeks which is anywhere between Week 1/2-November[/QUOTE]

Nvm, Slant Boy can stay with New Orleans lol

Why are all you guys panicking and crying right now? He’s not even a starter. Boykin was always going to be our starting WR2 this year. You see the way he blocks? Casuals.

i imagine we'll find out more tomorrow but this is sounding definitely not like worst case (might not be best case either but not far from it)
