What goes around comes around. Angelos kept the dc area from getting a baseball team for a long time and now owns the network thanks to SeligI don't like them since they kept us from getting an expansion team.
Just a comment. I know some native Americans that consider the Washington Redskins an honor, not a racial slur. They aren’t the only people who have commented on it. The only tribe that is against thst is a tribe that is amassed in “white culture” and they have received a ton of publicity and money from the entire ordeal. My god, a Native American made the emblem on the helmet. I’ve had conversations with some native Americans, but two of which I know well, and none of them are offended. Actually, they would be offended if they made them change the name. They have said, the Cleveland Indians is the name that needs to be changed, especially the chromic logo. The term redskin started with native Americans, not whites people and isn’t considered a derogatory term at all. Unfortunately the media hasn’t really researched the term much at all.I don't hate Pittsburg either, they're just like us, but better, sadly.
I hate Dallas for all that America's team stuff, for the media obsession and mostly for Jerrah.
I hate New England for cheating but mostly for the way you're not allowed to hit Brady. (I'm still annoyed by Suggs legit, drive ending sack that got flagged cause Tom squeaked about it.)
I hate Cincinnatti for Burfict, an actual sociopath who will try to injure people any chance he gets and for adding Mixon, too.
I hate Washington for unapologetically going about with a racial slur in their name and still not changing it. In 2017. It wouldn't even be hard. Google the native nation that lived in the Washington area, call yourselves that and keep the logo.

I'm legitimately shocked that we're not on the list. Nonetheless, I do respect Pats fans like yourself that aren't so damn obnoxious.1. The colts I mean its not even close fuck them, fuck jim irsay fuck everything about that league changing awful franchise.
2. Broncos - dont like their fans but I hate john elway a lot more. Never enjoyed watching their games and superbowl 50 was incredibly boring to watch.
3. Steelers - Fans suck and a lot of the organisation are pretty cheap. Tomlin tripping players, some of their players on offense and defense being thugs from all eras of pit.
4. Philly - I don't need to explain.
5. Any team that has an owner always willing to relocate a team on a financial whim. So the rams, raiders and chargers mainly.
1. Steelers
2. Pats
3. Bengals
4. Browns
5. Jaguars - 2011 MNF game, them stealing Ramsey from us, and Ramsey being a fuckboy
6. Dolphins - "divisional" rival outside of our division, Suh, Kiko
I've always been cool with baltimore sports teams in general, it would be nice if you guys had a hockey team too. Oh and baltimore is another reason why I hate the colts, since they used to be the baltimore colts as we all know until bob irsay took ownership and moved them.I'm legitimately shocked that we're not on the list. Nonetheless, I do respect Pats fans like yourself that aren't so damn obnoxious.
Wow.... At least 30-17 happened 5 years later.Back in 09 my ex and I were in a certain city for the holidays and stepped out for some food, this was like the day after we choked to the Steelers. Anyways before long we happened to run into some Steeler fans who saw her scarf and immediately started talking trash, I mean they had bragging rights or whatever but I wasn't in the mood, things were said and one of them grabbed me by the throat so I ended up knocking them both out, the second one got it worse. A bouncer put me in a chokehold and could have choked me out but I threw my hands up, he told us he saw what happened and that we had to leave. I also half expected us to be dragged out of bed in the middle of the night by a swat team.
There is only one tribe that has fought the issue. That says to me that they are the ones that are offended. This tribe lives and works among white Americans. They aren’t a true tribe, imo. One of my friends, friends. This is distant, so I didn’t mention it before. He’s a chief and has never been offended by the redskins and it is his favorite team.I'm not sure whether just one group being offended by the term isn't enough to remove it anyway, whatever anyone thinks of their culture. And how do we know that apparently only one group is offended? Because Washington regularly conducts surveys to try to prove the name isn't offensive. You don't need to do that unless your name is pretty offensive. (I seem to remember the latest survey didn't go the way the team would have wanted.)
Do any native Americans refers to themselves as Redskins? If not, that tells me the name is pretty offensive.
Definitely those offended are those in the minority and a lot are those who try to make something that shouldn't be an issue, an issue. There is only one tribe thst has fought the issue.
