Next Up: @Green Bay

I’m ok with a loss, but I’m always rooting for them to win.

that's fair dawg - i didnt bother watching that bengals game because i was twisted from the start - i knew id root for them and get frustrated with them through the game but id also settled days earlier for kind of hoping we lost to get a better pick and also maybe get marty out of town (that worked out great...)

I watched the steelers ravens game on a cruise ship. Amazing turnout with more ravens fans than Steelers fans. That was an amazing game regardless of the turnout. Too bad we didn’t have Jimmy.

all we needed was for weddle not to slip a little and we win...

Yep. Tackle and time runs out

especially as there would be leeway on when his forward momentum would stop too - all theyd have to do is stop him and drive him back and then maybe even fall on top of him to naturally finish the tackle - there's no way the ball and the steelers could get lined up without false starting in the time remaining...

Yeah totally sucks to revisit that moment.

And yet that moment defines our season - Ozzie went out and said we’re gonna build this defence so that teams can’t score a td in 1 minute in the 4th quarter and as a byproduct our offensive depth and talent suffered

I mean in offense they signed Maclin, Woodhead, and Howard as fresh starters and we were finally going to get to see what we had in Watson. It's not really the fault of Ozzie that we lost all our OLine depth to injury or that Woodhead got hurt week 1.

Agree, but we didn’t just lose depth on the oline. We lost starters and depth and are playing with 3rd stringers that are starting to function decently.

Without Stanely protecting Joe, I expect the Packers to dial up the pressure. That only ends one way for us. A negative turnover ratio, and unfortunately a loss.

This makes 2 spots on our oline worse - Hurst has to kick out to left tackle and I doubt his replacement will be able to pull as much and as effectively as hurst - if Stanley really is out then 2 positions get worse on game day
Yep that’s exactly what will happen

@Ice Bowl and friends- I posted up my weekly prediction.

I honestly think this game will be okay for the Ravens offensively. I didn't realize that Stanley was out when I wrote my piece, but the Packers have such a bad secondary that it may not matter. Offensively, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are disappointing relative to expectations and the Packers look to be without Bryan Bulaga, Morgan Burnett, Aaron Jones, and Ty Montgomery.

Doubtful rather than out but given it’s a concussion issue it’s not something he could play through if he was “almost” recovered...
