How was that an excuse? It was a that coulda been worse. At the end of the day we ended up exactly where we were gonna anyway and it pinned GB back deep. Awful decisions sometimes work out well despite the fact that they shouldnt. Just ask anyone who has ever played Blackjack.

I'm saying it could have cost us points and should have cost us but in the end it didn't. The Ravens ended up in exactly the same position as before except the Packers were put in a position where they couldnt mount a drive.

To further my blackjack analogy hitting on hard 18 is stupid but it can result in you pulling a 3 and getting 21 but that does not make it less stupid. We pulled a 3 its not an excuse to admit it and be happy it worked out.
