I think it’s very possible we could beat the jags in the playoffs, if we were to go on a role.
Of course we would most likely have to be the 5 seed to play the jags in the WC round. That is most likely not happening.

I don't think you can conclude that we'll lose just because of how they beat us. We did beat Pitt in the wild card in 2014 after they destroyed us on Sunday Night. I don't think Jacksonville has our number, they have won a couple of games against us in 2015 we really lost on the heels of Dooms (Terrible play) face mask penalty, had it not been for that we would have won. Outside of that win against us this season, I can't really say that they have our number.
And that game should have ended when the jags were not being set in time, yet the penalty wasn’t called.

They totally blew that one as well, I think they missed another call, not sure what it was but it might have been a holding or false start, I just remember the ending of that game to be just baffling from an officiating standpoint, they just didn't know what to do at the end of the play.

I think we all know the playoffs is a whole different type of game.
That was a game that NY admitted that we should have won that game and that type of admission of guilt rarely happens.

Yeah I remember that, the ending of that game was ridiculous.
Too many gut wrenching endings the last couple of years, but this one was taken away.
Luckily it came in a dead season anyway and in the end helped us with draft position to pick up Ronnie

That’s true - and we are getting ahead of ourselves here given that we are a team below .500 but this is how crazy this season is that we are probably the favourites for the 6th seed going into week 11
I would love for us to make playoffs if we something going on offense. Even if the offense was inconsistent it wouldnt be as bad, but our offense is complete trash. I have no faith in us at all unless flacco some how remembers his qb mechanics
It’s so frustrating because the afc is so crap that it’s a normally tantalising prospect that we might be able to take advantage and wreak havoc in the tournament and yet we have a mundane and debilitating flaw in our offence

The play-offs are a whole different kettle of fish. All it takes is two weeks of the Jags fans and players building confidence that they can't lose to these scrubs and a couple of amazing plays from Joe and that confidence becomes apprehension (ask Broncos fans how "we can't lose" becomes "oh shit, what if we did lose?"). It wouldn't be the first time a "lesser" team beat their more fancied opponents simply because they were more prepared for the postseason environment.
I do realise that even getting there is a tall order with how we're playing atm, but the point is simply that you never say never.
