Not that I don't think we can win, I know we CAN but at what cost? Who will be limping off the field that night?
Cleveland the following week would love to play spoiler, if we are too beat up, that could make for a tight game.

at the moment i feel on edge - i just need to see us win 2 games in a row for the first time since the first 2 games of the year to feel even vaguely comfortable with the idea of going 4-2 or better for the rest of the regular season

im not even worried about the steelers because we can afford to lose that game as long as we win the gimmes and a win vs pittsburgh would be a nice bonus that gives us wiggle room

its the others that would be penciled in as wins that have me worried (we're gonna be favourites in way too many games to make me feel comfortable watching from home)

I remember seeing a quote on either Facebook or Twitter. It went something like "this defense is good enough to win all 6 games. This offense is bad enough to lose all 6 games." I mean, there really isn't any better way of saying it.

so surely you would want the bills to win then if they are gonna ship losses on a tough schedule anyway - and the chiefs need to lose games if we are to beat them out of the wild card

surely in this situation a bills win is ideal...

Exactly why I wanted the Bills to win. Said the opposite of what I wanted. Lol
 
Looks like tenn and jags can end up 10-6 at worst. Buff still have to play pats 2x, dolp 2x and colts. i havent really looked more into depth but if we wanna make playoffs we cant afford to lose 7 games.

Ravens are going to have tiebreaker over Bills if they both go 9-7 and the only way they are not 9-7 is if they beat the Pats which is not gonna happen. Even if they sweep the Dolphins and beat the Colts which ofc they will that ends up 9-7 and the Ravens hold tiebreaker. They are not a threat they are not a worry, the team to fear is SD. The Ravens will also hold tiebreaker over them if they go 9-7 BUT they COULD win out. I still say they go 6-6 then split rest of way and go 8-8 but they could finish 10-6 which would be only reason that 9 wins would not get the Ravens in.

and this is why it would be really useful if KC could sink from here - so the chargers can win the division and KC drops out of the playoff race altogether

im hoping KC sink, the bills get beaten down by the pats and then maybe the dolphins give them a fight, im hoping one of the afc south teams has a bit of a free fall back to the pack where they belong and obviously im hoping we get the job done on our end and get out of the next 6 games with at least 4 wins starting with the texans tomorrow

The only way we make the playoffs is being extremely consistent on defense, because I don’t see our offense winning us any games. If we can do this we will get into the playoffs on our own accord.
