Considering everyone considered them a contender, it is very surprising. Also last year I’d thet didn’t lose Carr they would have most likely been the team to play against the pats in the afc championship game.
 
There goes my fantasy football season, sigh. Now I'm down 105-80 and he has Rivers, McCoy, AJ Green and the Patriots kicker still going. I have Dalton, Crabtree and Zach Ertz going and he is pulling away fast.

Man I love having you here! I can't believe how classy you and the other Packers fans are. I guess too much talking to Steelers and Pats fans for me. You guys will surely be back next year, Jones is a stud RB and you guys will benefit with a higher than normal draft pick, maybe an LB or something. Best of luck for this season, and once again so glad we have you here.
 
The clip of Brandon Williams doing the Lambeau Leap and the Packers' fans enjoying it too was just awesome. Wish more fans were like that around the league instead of wanting to start fights and be general assholes.

Side-note: I almost became a Packers fan growing up. I wasn't able to settle on a team and this was during the days of Brett Favre getting multiple MVPs so I started rooting for them for a few years. I'll always have respect for the Pack.
 
Just want to say that besides the Ravens I love the Packers and Saints. AR has always been a class act and I hope he can come back near the end of the season. Packers fans are awesome!

I never understood that. Yes, it's imperative to build through the draft, but at the same time, you need a flux of veteran talent for obvious reasons.

i think part of it is the packers dont develop talent and let it leave when it gets too expensive - their players either stay (sometimes on inflated contracts like randall cobb) or they arent developed enough when they finish their contract...

I think this is a fair statement. What say you, @Ice Bowl ? Obviously it helps when you got A-Rod, but does Ted usually have good drafts, but the coaching staff does a poor job with them or is Ted overrated in that regard?

And I know their defense played decent against us, but when was the last time they had a really good defense? Was it their Super Bowl run in 2010?

i wouldnt necessarily say its poor coaching but more that they keep the guys who we would normally allow to leave for comp picks and they release guys who werent good enough to earn contracts in the top 32

I have a packers fan that complained about defense did years until that 2010 super bowl year. I don’t know what there d has looked like since, regarding the rankings.
 
I thought our defense was ok but not great in 2014. After we got blown out by the Saints 44-23 in New Orleans the rest of the season we played well until our defense had a meltdown in the last 3 minutes of the NFC Championship game vs Seattle. After that loss I knew we would most likely never see the Super Bowl again with Rodgers. That was our opportunity and we blew it. We beat New England that year in Lambeau.

Well you did come pretty close last year until you ran into Matt Ryan and Co.
