Suggs won't win the award, but he should definitely get an honorable mention. The fact that he's still wrecking games at his age is amazing to watch and he's shown even better leadership on the defense. Fucking legend.

Suggs is amazing juice or no juice. Playing best football of his career. He could break his previous record of sacked and caused fumbles. Suggs could hit 16 sacks this year. He is getting better along season.
This season likely helps his HoF bid. But while he's enjoyed a terrific campaign, there are multitude of names who are likelier to be in conversation of being selected on their own merits. Bobby Wagner, Cameron Jordan, Harrison Smith, Calais Campbell, and Joey Bosa to name a few. The usual candidates of Von Miller, Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack are playing lights out. I personally feel Suggs is firmly outside of the group who have a realistic chance. However, who even expected for him to be where he is now? If it weren't for Suggs, our outside pass rush would be almost non-existent.

he's 2nd in the league in forced fumbles and 6th in sacks
he's not been at his best the last couple of weeks but has still picked up a couple of sacks - if he can turn it back on down the stretch and the ravens can find a consistent pass rush as a team then the league better beware
