The College Football Thread

Deion says he'll step in to ensure his son goes to the right team if the wrong team drafts Shedeur ends up being drafted by the wrong team. It's interesting but given the recent struggles of young quarterbacks lately with them not being properly developed, I don't blame Deion one bit here. Granted, it's more so the fact the NFL has a major coaching problem but I get why Deion would want his son to go somewhere with a coaching staff that will develop him. Sanders says he will handle things privately, not publicly.... now this information is now public lol.

Given the current draft order and a lot will change by the end of the season, would be interesting if the Giants draft him and they are on the other end of the Eli trade from 20+ years ago lol.

Go Navy , Roll Goats!

Bama doesn’t deserve it , but they’ll probably sneak in over SMU. Penalizing a team for losing a conference championship is wrong

Shout out to my Ducks for winning their first Big Ten title in their first season in the Big Ten!

But I do wonder if Bama would even be in consideration if Miami doesn't lose to 'Cuse.

I’d like to see the ducks capture their first title. If not then I’m pulling for ASU or ND

Wow , I can’t believe they actually made the right decision and excluded Bama. These matchups are incredibly exciting

It's official... Bill Belichick is the new Head Coach of the North Carolina Tarheels. UNC is also hiring Michael Lombardi to be their GM under Belichick. Also it is being assumed that this is temporary with the idea being his son Steven takes over as Head Coach at the end of his contract.

The NFL Has 14 teams in their playoffs and can be done in less than a month, yet it will take a whole month for College Football Playoffs with 12 teams. Should have went with 8 teams instead.

First round of the playoffs were a dud, I think this has more to do with there being 2 lopsided conferences meaning you have teams like Boise State and Arizona state getting byes. If we had the conferences of last year, Oregon wins the PAC 12, Texas wins the Big 12, Penn State/Ohio State wins the BIG 10, and Georgia/Alabama wins the SEC. I think the resulting first round is more entertaining and the conferences are honestly more entertaining as well. If you only play 9 conference games, it is kinda tough to say who the best team really is when there are 16 teams.
