The Second Half, The First Half and Yet More Overtime

After the Titans lose to the Rams this team will be leading the AFC. Let that sink in.

Not making any assumptions with how today has gone.

i legit cannot believe the bills lost to the jags - couldnt even get close to 10 points - the same jags that got ripped apart by Geno Smith lol - the same jags that had their QB leave the game with a serious looking ankle injury

id be absolutely fuming

It would not be pretty if we lost to these Jags. That said both Josh Allens had career games...

Bateman looked really good in this game too. Came up with some clutch tough catches

If I’m not mistaken this happened on the play where the ref missed Elliot touching the FB on the knee when he fell down after catching that longish pass. Seems if the back judge blows the play dead like he should have the injury never happens.

He arm was hanging at the beginning of the play. He went to grab Ham and that's when everything tore. He stuck it out and still made the play but you could see it immediately. That's why Ham was open in the first place.

Have to wonder how do The Ravens handle the Tyson Willaims and Leveon Bell situations now. I dont' think Williams had a carry in this game but Bell had some bright spots in this game.

Williams' days look like they're numbered. He wasn't on the field much and when he was, it was with no intent to get the ball to him. He had.1 carry that was called back on the hold but he was nothing more than a guy coming in to give the others a breather all day. Not that I think Bell is some savior but at least he offers some value. Williams offers us nothing at this time.

Just saw something to put this win in perspective. We gave up a KO return, they didn't turn the ball over and we gave it up twice. One in a sudden death situation and still pulled off the win. These games are taxing but they are winning.

Hard to know exactly but the whole process while he was on the field, it looked like it was one where the wind got knocked out of him. He ran off just fine and was back on the field not long after.

Didn't remember seeing him back on the field. thanks.

Also a note... Boykin obviously didn't show up in the stat book and didn't get a ton of offensive snaps, but he was used very differently today. Not a pure TE by any stretch but played a lot closer to the ball as a blocker. Seems like the outside WR experiment is over with him. Using him as a big slot/pseudo TE.

I know right? Imagine losing to the Jags without putting up 10 points. Right, guys?!??!?!?!

*nervously laughs*

Fucking Preston gave Lamar a C- grade . I know he played poorly in the 1st half but that was a little harsh .

Lamar was definitely not at his best as a passer today. Not terrible but he forced some things, missed some easy ones. I think it's appropriate even though we still don't win without him.

oh i missed that - they never showed that part of the route on the replays - we only ever saw ham run off the screen and then he was open - and on the replays they only showed the catchpoint

but yeah ive just watched and it looks like his arm is hanging limp even at the catch

and the offence was rolling from the last drive of the 2nd half onwards 4 straight TD drives then we sputtered around midfield with some penalties on a potential game-winning drive, an unfortunate INT when we were rolling and already in FG range in overtime, game-winning FG drive

when the offence figures the opposing defence out, we just roll and roll and roll - problem was with the bengals we never figured them out
