Next Up: vs Browns

As long as Lamar is back then I feel decent about this game. Our defense has been playing better and I think our run game will continue to improve now that Boyle is back (there were some promising signs against the Bears). Still a lot to improve on, but Lamar will give us a shot to win any game. Please get the man some damn ginger ale or something.

This team realistically should sweep the Steelers and steal one against the Browns. We most likely just need to finish out with 3 more wins to make playoffs. This schedule is BRUTAL down the stretch. If they can come out with a winning record in the remainder I would be shocked.

Did Brandon Williams play today?
he was inactive

Stop the run and this game should be ours... if the keep Baker in. Not so sure what happens if they sit him for Keenum because backups seem to be our new kryptonite.

Myles Garrett must be extremely excited to go against our line. We need RB/TEs to shadow him and help the Oline whenever possible.

People acting like ginger ale isn't medicine. Couldn't be me.

not like we spanked them.
Biggest pet peeve of mine from the fanbase, and it seems especially amplified this year.

Why do people think "because X team lost to Y team, they'll lose to Z team" logic holds any weight at all?

Like why would somebody think that just because Cleveland barely beat Detroit that they can't or won't beat a better team? Like have people not watched games this year?

There's not a single team in the NFL who's playing consistently good football. Not one. There's good streaks, there's bad streaks. Great teams losing to bad teams, then beating other great teams the very next week.

If there's one thing I'm extremely confident in, it's that how the Browns played against Detroit will likely have nothing to do with how they play against the Ravens.

Dont trust the OL against the Rams front. Don't trust the defense not to have lapses. The last time I remember them giving up these types of big plays is 2017. Who knows what happens though.
I just trust Lamar to overcome every obstacle thrown at the team and play superman to will us to victories even if he has to play against a pro bowl roster. That is what I truly believe, because Lamar is weapon X.

exactly. It's every given Sunday. If it was that easy to predict who would beat who, than gambling would be the easiest way to make money and yes, agree with. your point on consistency.

How come you all are so positive that the run game will improve with boyle back? I understand that helps alot but the rest of oline and rbs are bad to the point where i dnt see how we will actually notice a big impact.

Media does same thing but even worse.. media will say one thing and 90% of fans will take it and run with it

Don't even know what to expect on this one. We've obviously been really banged up and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Browns offense has been all out of sorts and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Can see a blowout in either direction or a nice close game... who fucking knows what's about to happen.

hard to predict anything when you have no idea who’s even gonna play lol

Well, a) it can't be much worse and b) I think it'll improve when our Oline gets as healthy as its going to be (basically this week) and when the offense is humming with all of its players.
It's not going to be anywhere close to 2020 levels this year. But it should improve from what we've been seeing. Pretty clear now also that Freeman is the most explosive back and should be getting the lion share, with Murray in more of the Edwards role. It took us half a season to figure that out.

I didn't even notice. I don't think he did and if he didn't, it's has to be awhile since we've given up less than 100 rushing yards. As for the 3 more wins, they MUST be against the divisional rivals.

ummm...

BWill didn’t play yesterday
ravens gave up less than 100 on the ground

He didn’t play against the dolphins
Ravens only gave up 60 on the ground

he didn’t play against the Vikings
Ravens gave up 131 but 66 came on one play outside where we lost the edge

jelly has been really great at nose tackle in replacement so far this year
