Next Up: vs Rams

Idk, let’s see what Covid list and injuries brings, maybe an opponent can get fucked by the dumbass rules instead of us ?

We had been fighting hard but the injuries have just become too insurmountable in the secondary in my opinion. We're pretty much down to Tavon Young and a bunch of fringe NFL level players. Can't imagine the results against Stafford, Kupp, OBJ, and co. are going to be much better than they were today.

Losing Averett was the end today. Maybe we get, somebody, anybody back.

Best case is we get Westry and Jimmy back but Westry has struggled to stay healthy all year in his own right, and I'm not convinced Jimmy is any better than what we're trotting out there currently if the game he was forced to play in a few weeks ago was any indication. Westry would certainly be a nice addition but still just don't think it's enough.

I am encouraged by the idea of a Lamar Jackson driven offense with Ben Cleveland and Mekari in the lineup.

I am extremely discouraged by the idea of today's secondary trotting out there again against the Rams. I'd much rather take Westry and Jimmy before Jackson, Seymour, and Worley. I'd really also like AA and Tavon.

Not exactly sure what either of their two injuries are, but if they're out and we don't have Jimmy and Westry I just can't see us winning, even if we have Lamar.

LMAO. We got flexed to 1pm.
Good for us. Pacific time zone team playing a 10am game out East.

Also, probably a smart move by Fox. Fox didn't really have a quality game in their early window. Best game they had was Raiders/Colts.

They already have Cardinals/Cowboys in the afternoon prime slate on their network, so this was probably an attempt to get a better game in a better time slot for them for ratings.

No way in hell did Fox think that Panthers/Saints would be a better draw in late afternoon. That game is almost unwatchable. They likely switched it because they wanted the better draw in the 1pm game.

I think even if Humphrey, Peters, Averett, Elliott, Jimmy, Westry, Ladarius Webb, Chris McAlister and Ed Reed himself suited up for this game, it would be a tough one. The Rams passing attack is no joke.

Do I think Kevon Seymour, Robert Jackson, Daryl Worley, Mazzi Wilkins and whatever poor son of a bitch gets thrown into the fire off the street this week can pull this off? No. But Joe Burrow getting passed on the single game passing record list by Matt Stafford isn’t an outcome without positives.

Thank god lol. I’m on the west coast and I hate 1:30 games. It’s such an awkward time lol

Lamar might come back but we don't have a chance with this secondary. The way the Bengals did us was dirty but they match up well with a lot of teams given the amount of talent they have on offense.

The Rams are on another level. They're a far superior team. I can see Cooper Kupp going for over 200 yards against this secondary.

I just hope we can avoid more season-ending injuries so we can regroup next year. I stopped having expectations once Marlon went down but Stanley, Gus, Dobbins and Peters early-season injuries were detrimental in so many ways. I wish we could've avoided those.
