Marlon Humphrey Arrested

@Inqui has been suspended from all forum activity for lewd content by speaking in favor for Marlon Humphrey. In order to be lifted if this punishment he must make the necessary transition to StRoNg sAfEtY”
Done. Do we still need to draft another strong safety or is inqui the StRoNg sAfEtY of the future.

I very much doubt he gets a suspension or even a fine. It's the NFL offseason, dumbass players get arrested for being dumbasses all the time.

Doesn't really matter when it happens; if it puts the NFL in a bad light then they could punish him further. The NFL is already struggling with dipping ratings every year so they don't need their players getting arrested, no matter how minor the charge is.

On a side note: the whole situation is ridiculous. The Uber driver? Dumb fuck could have just let Humph keep the charger and gotten an autograph instead (if he didn't get one already). The autograph would be worth way more money than a $15 POS charger. The officer? Dumb fuck should have just made Humph give back the charger and given him a warning. I'm sure other Alabama students have done far worse things while drunk and not gotten arrested. Humph? Dumb fuck should have realized that the Uber driver valued his $15 charger as a prized possession and just given it back. Also, I don't know how drunk he was, but if he expected to handle 3 women in that state then maybe the officer saved him from embarrassment. C'mon man....

Been there and done that with whiskey. WISH there was a cop there to save me

You know that no Uber driver who already got his $15 phone charger back is going to waste more of his time and gas to drive to court. This is going to be a nol pros by the State’s Attorney which means they are not prosecuting the case and Humphrey will not have any stain on his record.

Honestly from a news cycle perspective this won't even be relevant tomorrow (unless something new emerges), much less have any bearing on the NFL's ratings. It's about as serious a story as someone calling the cops because someone stole their weed stash. If the NFL wants to suspend every player that has a run-in with the law, however minor, then week one will basically be a fifth preseason round. No way it comes to that - book it.

Tweet from Lardarius Webb: "I'm from Alabama so i can say it! Boy, you better stay your ass outta Alabama! Misunderstanding on a phone charger. Graduate and get your ass on!"

Could be that the Uber driver saw a way to exaggerate his story due to an inebriated Humphrey and capitalized on setting up a potential lawsuit and settlement. Fairly simple math shows that when an NFL player makes contact with you and steals your charger it should provide some nice dividends. Surely more profitable than Uber. It’s a minor story but it’s a stupid decision and I can’t remember when good things happened to Alabama players who return home to Alabama in the offseason. See Rolando McClain.

Or Reuben Foster
Humphrey might have returned to finish some school work though.
