2022 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

I was 50/50 between him and Zachary Carter at my pick. I don't have the patience or knowledge to be able to compare film of them lol

carter is someone i struggle with - like many tweener types i sometimes find it hard to evaluate what they are and how they might be used - feel like tweeners are inherently riskier prospects and while i like projecting all guys based off traits, i do like to mitigate risk and that can make it harder to buy into some of these tweener types

i just saw a few things on his tape that i didnt like - some stuff i do like too (he's definitely draftable) but for me carter's more of a 5th round or later kind of guy - he's got some tools but ive got tons of questions

Somewhat surprised to see West available at this point. He's perhaps one of the last, if not the last OL prospects that I could feasibly see going in Day 2. Experience at both guard spots and center. He needs a bit more polish, and I feel like he could improve in sensing stunts. But at just 20 years old, I could see him developing into a starting center or guard.

Who's up?

Depending on how things go with this next pick, I may have a huge surprise for all those who were thinking I was all in on OL with this pick lmao...

I love Malcom Rodriguez. Small but extremely productive and fits in very well with my team.

The Seahawks are considering sending 5.2 and a 7th to move up just a few spots. Message me if you're looking to get an extra pick sent your way.

Jake Ferguson had good production in primarily a running offense and improved every year. He has upside as a starting TE in the NFL.
