2022 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

And the thought process around the Saints just for transparency is that they can make the necessary moves to get under the cap at first. Once they get under, those special rules go away and they're beholden to everything else as they normally would. But because they get some more freedom in clearing cap than all other teams, we figured restricting to the 1 star bids was a fair way to ensure that the special rules don't provide an advantage.

i have no idea why they didnt start tearing it down in 2021 and instead they just stayed in neutral and achieved nothing but i guess maybe they knew it would be payton's last year and wanted to have one final go with what they had

So, to start the game we all have to fill out which portions on the SoF?

Active Contacts, Dead Money, Roll over and the Roster total portions?

is that everything? Including the depth charts?

I hear you guys need OL help. I have (1) Ben Powers and a 5th rounder for Tee Higgins. You don’t need him anyways with Chase there.
 
Helpful tip, I like to screenshot my roster on spotrac so I have all of the cap numbers when the rosters lock. Just in case the teams make irl moves that are different from mine.

absolutely what you should do, especially since roster bonus will take effect. You can screen shot on spotrac tomorrow at 7pm
 
I'm getting conflicting information regarding Pick 29 in the 3rd round (pick 93). I've seen multiple boards show the Niners with the pick and multiple places have Miami with the pick. If I dig deeper and research the Lance trade in 2021, it shows San Francisco packaging their 3rd round pick in 2022 as part of the package to Miami.

Could I get some confirmation regarding this.
