Tons spent on this DB class. Possibly too much? But at least it solves the needs for both NFC West teams. J.C. Jackson and Casey Hayward with D.J. Reed in the slot form arguably an upper-tier CB combination. Jayron Kearse brings in a bargain starter next to Jamal Adams. Hopefully the additions ease Adams' comeback efforts. And Carlton Davis should serve as a solid CB1, especially with Marcus Williams, Jimmy Ward and Xavier Woods over the top.

you got great value on casey hayward and carlton davis
jimmy ward too (but he's been one of my favourites since he was drafted)

I was a huge fan of Ward coming out as a slot corner. He is such a smart player and has been in the league since 2014.

Appreciate that. I thought for sure Davis would go into double figures. He struggles more in man coverage than you'd expect, but he's a fine starter if the pieces are around him. Hayward rebounded like 2020 never happened. 388 yards given up in 18 combined games. And Ward has been playing his best ball in recent years. Plus with Williams and Woods, I can now move him around even more.

I think I got a little over excited when I saw how little some of these guys were going. But I think for 10 stars I'd rather have Douglas, Hughes, and Whitehead over Tavon, Averett, and Elliott at ~12 stars. From film breakdowns and what I've read, it sounds like Whitehead is more of a SS than FS, but can do a little bit of everything. I'm sure Macdonald can figure out how to use him, Stephens, and Clark.

I regret tendering Westry now, but was worried about how the CB market would look.

Rock solid selections at all of those spots. Whitehead is more of an SS, but he's a missile. And Hughes has shown that he could be a solution on the outside. Same goes for Douglas. Plus all of those additions are super young.

Note: Please make sure to use the full team name when bidding, i.e. San Francisco 49ers. It is essential for the bids to be valid.

Just in case y’all are wondering why spelling things correctly is a big deal, we had someone in the past that would intentionally spell names wrong so they’d bypass the search capabilities.

don't remind me. Not sure why team name is such a big deal though. Spelling Los Angeles Chargers wrong is going to haunt me.

Only 2 weeks away... Damn that's before a lot of the pro days and much info is out, and over a month before real draft. Is this usual timeline? I forget.

I feel like it should perhaps be another week or 2 at least before we draft?
I think the goal is to be done before the real draft. The last game we played, the draft started around the 24th and ended like 2 days before the real one started.

yes, this is normal. Takes about 3 weeks to do the draft then we have final free agency. Only one time did we have FFA after the draft.

After the draft, we begin sign up for the Draft A Franchise game, which is easy compared to this.

Yeah we started March 26th in 2019 and March 21st in 2018, so right in line with normal

Should be tomorrow or next Friday it sounds like
it's normally been the friday before the combine...
only time it wasnt was last year when they didnt have the combine lol

it cant be next friday because that's after the new league year's already begun... last year they announced comp picks 1 week before the new league year began... we're already past that stage for this year lol

feels like it has to be tomorrow given that the tampering window opens on monday
