2022 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Ingram is likely to be overlooked among the stellar mid-to-late slew of RBs in this class, but he feels like a serious sleeper, even based on his tape from Texas. Same goes for Samori and his work in Montana and Nebraska.

All of these RBs finally coming off the board. Was debating when was the “fuck it they’re BPA” time came for me since I already have some full RB rooms

My dilemma as well since I'm basically taking my 4th and 5th RBs. My pick will be in momentarily.

That’s where I was at. Luckily still had some guys in the same bucket at other positions but the 7th could have conceivably been mostly RBs if it continued this way.

It really goes to show how stupid it is to take a RB early in a draft. Gettleman can pound rocks.

Was very much hoping to nab Jones at some point. Got a mid-round grade on him and the 49ers needed depth at CB.

We're just about in the last round. If anyone is looking for good depth players to swap their 7ths for, I've got RB Philip Lindsay and WR Jauan Jennings available.

I'll make my pick in a bit. All of the picks from this morning got me behind on work for the day and I am on a literal minute-to-minute schedule daily, so it'll be up when it can be.

Tough choice here, but I ended up going with Jones. He's overaged and somewhat stiff, which I doubt is fixed in the pros given that he's essentially maxed out. But you could do worse given his current physical profile. At worst, he has the special teams background to fight for a roster spot. And his usage was similar to Deebo Samuel to a degree, so perhaps he can give him a spell.

@JoeyFlex5 is OTC with Pittsburgh.

Really liking my draft for the Steelers. It FEELS like something the Steelers would really do too. That gives me the ick. I don’t like it.

Tyree Johnson will come in on 3rd downs in passing situations and help bring the heat
