@Somerset Ravens is OTC.
Another example of people taking advantage of other less knowledgeable users. Except you've done it to @Ice Bowl several times now. You should honestly be ashamed of yourself for giving him several shit players and taking draft picks from him. I cannot believe no one has said anything. He has given away all of his picks and has virtually nothing to show for it because people continually take advantage of him. I even told icebowl weeks ago not to trade with you anymore because of it. Sad thing is, this isn't even the worst trade. You convinced him to give you two 5th round picks for Deandre Washington. A running back who averaged 2.7 yards a carry last season. Also got him to give you a 5th for Cordarelle Patterson (shit). And probably more trades I forgot about.@Ice Bowl
Oakland Raiders give
Eddie Vanderdoes, DT (OAK saves 0.0, GB gaines 0.5)
Green Bay gives
Round 5, Pick 1

The fact that no one else cares that people are getting taken advantage of is ridiculous.
But I know for a fact that @Truth doesn't care because he took a 4th for Coby Fleener (shit). And a 3rd and a 4th for a nose tackle and a shit guard.
Just wanted everyone to see what goes on when someone new joins the Forum Mock and doesn't know much about draft picks and stuff. They get absolutely taken advantage of. I have tried to keep my mouth shut and just go with the flow but this is bs. There needs to be a group of people that approves all trades to ensure they are fair.
I disagree with that but its also why I said it wasn't the worst trade. Its mostly the buildup until this point that has flipped my lid. Want to defend the other trades?um dude... i was gonna say that mania definitely lost that trade for vanderdoes... that's a starting defensive tackle on the rise with pass rush potential for a 5th round pick... that's a steal tbh

Vanderdoes was a 3rd round selection last season. Did he struggle somewhat? Yes, but he's a year removed from being drafted significantly higher than the 5th, which takes into account said struggles. I doubt that this could even begin to be encompassed into shameful trades. Taking advantage of less knowledgeable users, specifically Ice Bowl. You mean like your trade of Bobby McCain and a 5th for his 3rd and 4th? We took McCain, a former 5th round slot CB who's graded out in the red for three straight seasons minus the Denver game this season, and we assessed him at a 3rd round value with an additional bonus swap. That trade would've went through had the pick not been traded. At least Davison was a terrific run defender throughout the season and Peat was a former 1st rounder who's 24. What about flipping Kiko Alonso, who was 2 yards shy of giving up the most yards of any player in coverage regardless of position and has struggled to regain form, for an above-average QB like Tyrod Taylor in a straight up swap? Were any of these concerns mentioned then? I can tell you for a fact that I've asked some members behind closed doors to attempt to even out the scales with a few of the newcomers, which multiple people here can corroborate. I've asked to add pieces from my end to several trades compared to where they could've been. I'd appreciate if I wasn't publicly berated on a woefully off-base and blind assumption of what I care about when I'm right here to provide anyone who cares to know with the accurate answer. And with regards to your assessments, as noted by rossihunter2's opinion of the trade above, the opinions of most trades and moves will vary.Another example of people taking advantage of other less knowledgeable users. The trade value in this game is atrocious.
It's just how the game has developed and you are right that individual honesty should play a part.Sadly it's quite true. Teams should overspend to trade up or to sign a player they really like, theorically, and that doesn't happen very often. But we can't get 32 players with the same amount of experience, either. Especially in the first few years of this forum's life.
I guess it's something we have to deal with at this stage.
Then of course, individuals' honesty should play a part as well in determining a more realistic trade payoff
exactly my point as well, plus I drafted him last year and believe he has potential. I'm also a big fan of Cedrick Wilson and since I didn't get Burnett I wanted to make sure I got Wilson.um dude... i was gonna say that mania definitely lost that trade for vanderdoes... that's a starting defensive tackle on the rise with pass rush potential for a 5th round pick... that's a steal tbh
As I mentioned, I drafted Vanderdoes in last years FM and still like him. Totally fair trade, if not in favor of Ice Bowl. In some trades with him, I've offered additional picks that he has turned down. Many times he's come to me on trades and proposed them to me.I disagree with that but its also why I said it wasn't the worst trade. Its mostly the buildup until this point that has flipped my lid. In previous years we have had non qb's go for over 30m or so. @Truth can you give some examples.I think the bigger problem with the forum mock this year is free agency. Because we have so many inactive and inexperienced players, the prices for free agents are lower or substantially higher than expected. A few times I threw out 2 star bids just to get involved in the bidding process and I ended up getting the player straight out. Other times I wanted a bigger name player and they ended up going for 20+ stars, which is unheard of for a non-QB. The effect of this probably trickles into trades because you have members trading higher end picks for players when a similar comp was available in free agency for next to nothing.
The fact that non-qbs went for over 30 mil in the past further proves my point, just saying. I think a poll-like system where the bids for each player are separate from one another and are visible without having to scroll through multiple pages would be good.In previous years we have had non qb's go for over 30m or so. @Truth can you give some examples.
I agree, free agency, needs to be changed. We will try and keep players around to participate in a newer idea at the end of the game.
