so needs to happen next year. I cannot wait till 2020..eat the dead money....
that only works for flacco AFTER the 2019 season (i.e. 2 more seasons of Joe)
and jimmy will be a free agent then anyway
we can cut jimmy after 2018 season to save just under 10 mill but flacco wouldnt save us a huge amount if we cut him in 2019

I know..basically the end of the season after this coming one.
I won't miss him. He basically embodied the darkest era in ravens history post contract. Yes, i am saying we aint making any noise for the next 2 years as well as the last 5.

In that case I Must be misinterpreting. As I read, it looks as if a release of trade garners 10 million in cap savings for Joe and nearly ten in Jimmy's case(as you say).
oh i must have misunderstood what you meant - why would it open up 62 million in cap?
i assumed you meant cutting flacco after 2019 when cutting him would create 20 million on its own and only leave 8 million in dead money
