The Lamar, The Defence and The Injuries (again)

Fishing without cold beer in your cooler is something I don’t want to experience…lol!
 


nicely managed by the ravens - gave Dobbins carries in bunches to let him get some rhythm and feel and involvement in the offence but despite that kept his workload fairly light and managed him well

definitely helped that justice hill had maybe the best game of his career

If you told your wife you planned on sitting by a river drinking beer all day she's gonna have a problem with that, same concept with golf. Men being the cowards that we are made these things up just so we could have beers with our mates lol
 
At the start of the third quarter when they went down the field and went up 20-14 I was feeling pretty low, I wish I could buy the whole team a drink, because I did not want another week of feeling as low as I did last week. I am so happy we won today! I just hope now we can recover quickly from all these injuries.
 
I was watching with an hour delay and my son woke up and I know he would have checked the score and I swear he looked sad so I was expecting that we had lost.

Actually There was a period for like three years I went fishing pretty much every weekend during the summer with my bud. My wife was pretty cool about it. My wife teased me pretty heavy because my bud caught more fish than I did, but in reality, I just love being out early in the morning watching the sun come up and the peace and quiet sitting on the pier or along the rocks by the bay. Unfortunately my bud sold his place, and it was not the same without him.
 
So what did everyone think of Dobbins today? I know it’s early but I thought he looked a little cautious out there, but not a lot of space to work with. I’m sure we phase him in more as we go along

very much disagree - last week he had more snaps than any skill position player other than mark andrews (more than bateman, more than duvernay, more than any of the RBs or non-Andrews TEs)

this week he was constantly in the game and used all over the place - and even had a 12yd reception drawn up for him off play-action on a drive that led to a TD

he's being used well and an appropriate amount - he was one of the guys they used to help out faalele when he was struggling early too

He’s an incredible blocker but the point I agree with is utilizing his hands sneaking out of the backfield. Feels he’s always good for a first

Let's see how they fare against bills first. I'm not counting on Ojabo this year and Bowser will help but I don't think it will be that significant IMO. But hey who knows.

He looked better than the other guys, nothing fancy in the run game but added to the pass game. A solid return.
 
My thoughts:
1. Morgan Moses is exactly what we needed. He had 5:20 minute mark of the second quarter watch his block, it’s insane.
2. Duv is shocking us all. The fact he had the long punt return on the same drive as his clutch td was awesome
3. Lamar is that guy, wow he should be mvp favorite right how
4. So great to have play makers back on defense. We’re all so use to bleeding slow deaths from last year. Anyone on our team last year drops the marlo pick
5. Kyle Hamilton does indeed have that greatness factor. Didn’t seem like he was playing too often and if he was he wasn’t deep. I noticed geno deep often. Fine by me, let Kyle do what he’s good at!
6. This team desperately needs reinforcements and JAD should not be on the field
7. Realistically we just need to win 1 of the next 2, but the bills are hurting and the bengals are cold. We could easily gain some valuable standings in the afc north and in the general afc this stretch.
8. We are struggling because we’re still missing key players being healthy. Obvious but, all we need to do is stay afloat until they are back, and the play makers (andrews Lamar tucker marlo Marcus x2) that we need to be elite - are being elite and winning us games. We will be more complete soon

You are correct about JAD. they have been picking on him and he is failing badly.
