That has nothing to do with the defense giving up leads. We were winning and now we're not. That happened to the tune of a 3rd and 12, a 3rd and 14, and a 3rd and goal collapse.

When you're offense is struggling to put up points, if you want to win, you're defense has to carry you by holding on to leads.

Both sides have been embarrassing.

I get your point, it is just silly. "Play perfect or you are an embarrassment" is a silly notion. If your defense holds an NFL team under 20 points they did a good job. You cannot reasonably be demanding more than that. Shut out or be an embarrassment is also not reasonable. However, the Ravens are on pace to give up only 14 points so if the goal has to be to hold under 10 or you are an embarrassment, then of the 160 times through week 5 that a defense took the field, 147 times they were an embarrassment.

Nope, never said you need a shut out to not be embarrassing. Giving up TDs in a 1 score game when you've got the opposing offense in multiple long 3rd down situations is embarrassing.
