Week 9 Discussion (Monday Night Football Edition)

Week 9 kicks off in Houston as the Undefeated Philadelphia Eagles head to H-Town to take on the Texans. History will be made as this is the fifth time that the same cities face off in the World Series and a NFL Game on the same day. So while the Eagles are taking care of business in Houston, the Phillies will be looking to take care of business in Houston.

As for the rest of the NFL..... big things happening as the trade deadline is over and teams now have put all their cards on the table. Ten trades occurred on the busiest trade deadline in years as teams look to secure the final pieces to their Super Bowl hopes while others sold in hopes of more draft picks and building for the future. As we return back to the site of Super Bowl 47 on Monday in New Orleans, let's enjoy our second stress free Sunday in a row.

Texans strike first as Davis Mills finds Teagan Quitoriano for a 2 yard TD and Houston goes up 7-0.

This is surprisingly a competitive game, didn't expect that. Thought for sure it would be a Philly blowout win by double digits.

Short week, they didn't take Texans seriously.
It will be different in 2nd half.
The Texans running game is skull-dragging the Eagle's D-line. Wow!

No Jordan Davis for the next four weeks is going to hurt them in the run game based off what Houston is doing to them tonight.
The Eagles got their running game going as well. I need them to win so that they continue to dominate the Cowboys for their division. Touchdown Eagles! 29-17.

Eagles are 8-0 for the first time in Franchise history, while the Phillies are down 3-1 to the Astros in the 8th in a series tied 2-2.

What a meaningless game, when you think about it.
Yeah... a lot of the primetime games this year that looked good on paper when the schedule released are terrible now. Someone posted the Sunday Night Football games and said how most of them should be flexed given records of the teams playing.

Yeah but I meant meaningless generally, not only for prime time.
