Do I need to teach you what statistically significant means? There is not a statistically significant conversion of 4th and 1 from not the endzone for any 1 team in the NFL. What there is though is enough combined data to create a statistically significant sample using the teams in the NFL (roughly over a 2-3 year period). This is where the number comes from. Trying to draw an average from 5-6 is not going to give you an accurate metric.
