Ravens Pro Bowlers

I guess I feel like I wanted another thread that maintains positivity and it’s pro bowl voting season.

Anyone got any that you think will make it? Any that you think should but won’t? Any that you think shouldn’t but will?

I also just wanted a place for this piece of grading from PFF:

Elite defensive linemen in order
1) Aaron Donald
2) Fletcher Cox
3) Damon Harrison
4) Akiem Hicks
5) MICHAEL PIERCE
6) A’Shawn Robinson
7) Shelby Harris
8) Kenny Clark

No other DL got elite grades

Carry on...

I really don’t think we’ll have any...maybe CJ just because he’s such a big popular name. Maybe Yanda.

Humphrey and Pierce probably deserve it but won’t get it.

We really don’t have many big time players...yeah this thread might be more depressing and negative come to think of it.

I guess here’s a list of a few players who probably should make it:

Ronnie Stanley
Marshal Yanda
Michael Pierce (maybe depends on how many DL go - if it’s 4 it’s probably fair that he’d miss out)
CJ Mosley
Marlon Humphrey (won’t get recognised because of lack of ints)

And then the wolf pack

Eric Weddle might end up there purely from name-brand though

Plus we are a small market

Ah yes forgot about Tucker. He should be a shoe in every year but whatever.

And Koch deserves it but doesn’t really have name recognition I don’t think

TUCKER!

I just realized how sad this is.
Yeah...when you realize you have like less than a handful of top flight players.....and 2 of them are on special teams.....

hopefully some of our young guys will change that

I think it is gross that Tucker only has 2 pro bowls. The fact that Boswell got in last year is just ugh.

Steelers fans run the pro bowl voting. I saw John Bostic, Nix, Boswell and his what 5? missed xps were all top vote getters.
If we put in Literacy tests for the voting we can keep the Steelers fans away

Ronnie Stanley has quietly become one of the league's best LTs. I'd argue he deserves a pro bowl nod. Mostly to shut up the fanbase. It's like CJ Mosley all over again. So underappreciated by the damn fanbase. Same goes for Humphrey. Outside of Breshad we have lowkey been doing very well with our first round selections.

Tucker should be a shoe in for both the pro bowl and the first team all pro every year. He actually might end his career as the best kicker in league history. Worth every penny.

I'd say

Marlon
Stanley
Yanda
Tucker
Koch
Pierce

all deserve it

CJ and Weddle will likely get in off of reputation despite CJ clearly playing injured... again. And Weddle slightly declinining
Yanda is almost a shoe in
Tucker should be too....

So 4...

The pro bowl doesn't matter to me but I do know it matters to legacy which is really why I want Yanda and Tucker to rack up as many as they can. The others deserve it but it's more likely a guy like Suggs gets put in.

The first round picks have been spectacular post Matt Elam. Perriman was bust but we couldn't have known about his knees so that doesn't kill me. The second round has been a slight yikes. It's just trying to get projects instead of the actual bpa

Tucker gets the name recognition, but what gets unnoticed is how long Morgan Cox, Koch and Tucker have been together. This consistency has a lot to do with accuracy.

I doubt Pierce makes it, even the official Ravens twitter account didn't help him out getting votes. They only tweeted for B.Williams, Suggs, Tucker, Humphrey, Weddle, Jefferson, Mosley and Yanda.
Boswell's XP% is lower than Tuckers FG% (career and 2018), that should end every argument.

Yea, ESPN called Morgan Cox a close friend in a story. The disrespect is real.

Not sure how you all overlooked it but considering how many elite players we have at the position, sTRonG SafETy spot is ours, too.

Humphrey certainly deserves it
Pierce may be the best NT in the league
Brandon Carr has quietly been stellar this year
Ronnie Stanley despite playing on a high ankle sprain has played a pro bowl season
If Mosley has played all year the way he has since the bye, but that injury has slowed him down most of the year
