Beck signing with The U for reportedly $4 million in NIL money
he'd make less than that in year 1 of an NFL rookie contract outside of the top 10 picks
as a 3rd round pick it would take him 3 years of his rookie contract to make that money

I've done 0 actual film study to this point, but from watching the games... I agree. Think you have a few high end players but that's it. Lot of guys that were expected to take the next step and just didn't.So far I'm pretty unenthused by the top of this class - lots of the big names have been let downs
obviously only doing preliminary watches right now and nowhere near through enough guys to say anything definitively but... doesnt seem like a stacked top of the class so far - getting the sense that it's a weak 1st round (either that or there's a bunch of amazing prospects to get to without much hype)

I'm very high on Will Johnson and Mason Graham pre tape study. I like a couple of the OTs too but that's one where I really need to dive in before I give a thumbs up or thumbs down.idk if there's even that many high end guys tbh - a lot of guys who seem to be consensus top 10 picks who don't have top 10 grades from me (on a preliminary basis)
right now i've only got 2 blue chip players in this class - abdul carter and jalon walker

Abdul Carter is absolutely one of my favorites. Think that dude is going to be an absolute menace in the league.i like both those michigan guys but not as top 10 grades (although it's looking like they may be top 10 on the board just because there's not many blue-chip talents) - think will johnson on first view has a little bit of hip tightness and mason graham has some balance and pad level issues (and maybe some shorter arms) - both 100% nailed on first round grades from me but not guys i think are your blue-chip types
some nice OL guys for sure - if josh simmons got to play a full season against some of the better competition later in the year he might have been able to get a big big grade from me but he's got some unknowns, will campbell is pretty close to a blue-chip type of grade but right now have him just on the other side of the line on the first go round
but abdul carter and jalon walker were fun fun fun

I'm only like 8 guys in, and while I wouldn't say generational, I feel like Abdul Carter is a clear number 1 right now for me. I think that is more the reflection of a poor draft class than him just being so much better than the rest. The other guys I've looked at (Hunter, McMillan, Walker, etc.) all feel like 1st round talents but not necessarily top 5 types of talents. There’s been recent talk about the term generational prospects because the titans new gm just used the phrase
And I agree that it’s vastly overused
The only truly generational college prospects I can think of from the last decade+:
Andrew Luck
Myles Garrett
Saquon Barkley
Joe Burrow
Don’t think anyone else would qualify and Joe burrow is touch and go because of that 1 year sample size
And there’s definitely no generational talents in this class

I’m in full agreement
Think Carter and Jalen walker are the clear top 2 guys in the class
I’ve only got about 10 preliminary 1st round grades right now
THIS! It's not a surprise that our losses have something to do with our trenches in one way or another.Spend all 11 picks on fat dudes.
I want the biggest and baddest OLine and Dline. I want what the eagles have lol

Not many generational prospects but its been some generational talent in lamar and travis hunterThere’s been recent talk about the term generational prospects because the titans new gm just used the phrase

This isn't directed at me... but I think Hunter can get there, but it's not as clean as some make it out to be. There's a lot of natural talent there but I genuinely think he hurt himself by following Deion around. He's relied so much on his natural athleticism at CB against inferior opponents that I can see some early struggles against premium talent at the next level. The technique is pretty shoddy. The physical skills are there though, and I love the mental too. Just think he's a guy that might take a couple of years to really break out at the NFL level if he's going to do it.lamar certainly became a generational talent in the league
aaron donald is another good example of that too
you're that confident in travis hunter?
i'm not
Im not confident in travis at all tbh but he has some of the best ball skills ive seen in a while and has some good instincts so i just feel like if he is able to learn on the next level, he could atleast be a good zone cb..To me, it looks like he hasnt been taught shit in college and is out there off all natural ability and thats why im unsure about him.lamar certainly became a generational talent in the league
