Just as I said Justin madubuike was a first round talent back in the day, I am also saying tj sanders is a first round talent, and the team that drafts him will get a massive steal because he looks likely to go day 2.
If we don’t like the edge or OL prospects at 27, which is a very likely scenario, TJ sanders might be one of the biggest net gains available by significantly boosting our interior pass rush.
Pair BK with another elite interior rusher and were much better than off than drafting another edge that doesn’t pan out, and maybe better off than drafting another corner as well

Yeah that sounds like a #SIIE to me. I still want an edge rusher, but this sounds enticing.

Check out his film. He also was a force at the senior bowl. Can’t understand how he’s not getting way more buzz. He’s not an oversized freak athlete so I guess that disqualifies him from the first round buzz, which is usually the kinda DT that gets talked about in pre draft

I’m campaigning this. This is a promising DT class and we’re much more likely to find interior rush than edge rush, and this is a need that’s been brushed under the rug. Arguably it’s as big a need as edge. Travis jones is the man but him and Broderick Washington aren’t gonna cut it for a whole season of pass rush. TJ Sanders and Alfred Collins are animals, I really like them for us in the first 2 rounds, wherever they end up falling.
i think the reason is that there's so many great DT prospects of all different flavours in this class
people forget, but madubuike was a freak athlete as well
there's a bunch of DTs I'd take with our 2nd round pick if any of them were there, but i dont think Sanders is a 1st rounder
but in that group i'd be very happy with in round 2 if any of them made it: Alfred Collins, TJ Sanders, Joshua Farmer, Deone Walker, Darius Alexander
it's also a really good looking EDGE class too

I’m not in love with the edge class, I like green and Pearce, I feel like most of the rest of them are edge defenders who don’t offer much pass rush, Shemar Stewart, mykel Williams, nic scourton, jack sawyer, tuimulao, all guys getting the first and second round buzz but I don’t see any kinda quality pass rush outta them, they look like run stuffers.
Kyle kennard, Jordan Burch, Donovan ezeraiku, princely unmanmielen, and Landon Jackson look like some maybes for day 2, few other guys like Ashton gilotte, Bradyn swinson, Jared Ivey for early day 3.
Overall, I think there’s a lot of pass rush junk that’s gotta be sifted through if we’re gonna find a guy at either of our first 2 picks.
oh i agree that it's messy - it's certainly not the class it was being hyped as
but there's also a ton of guys who are gonna get picked on day 2 and a range of different types etc. sifting through it to find your guy is key for sure
there's a lot of guys with either a big flaw in their athletic profile or in their production profile (and by that im not just talking about sacks, im just talking about things like pass rush win rate or pressure rate etc.) - but there's some guys that could be freaks if you pick the right one... i've got a lot of day 2 grades in this edge class
i think that's about where i'd rank him tbh... maybe even a bit lower
i wouldnt think of 27 as a fall at all

I've been focusing on QBs mostly to this point, but I've also reviewed 21 potential 1st round picks starting with the consensus top guys. I think I'm settled on Abdul Carter and Mason Graham as the top talents in this class. Travis Hunter, Will Johnson, Jalon Walker, Will Campbell, and Armand Membou in the next tier. Everyone else is kind of blending together and I wouldn't be shocked if the next 21 all get similar grades.
im gonna finish with probably 15-17 first round grades this year which is significantly fewer than normal
also only got 3 guys with top 10 grades: abdul carter, jalon walker, travis hunter
