2024 Training Camp

tbf to yvandy rigby he only just started practicing because of injury to start camp
100%. Have on good authority that they liked him a lot in his limited OTAs time. Won’t count him out. He’s the one I’d keep my eye out for if any crack it.

A few media members pumping Owen Wright the last few days. Seems like he's having a strong camp, which is funny because dude did not look like an NFL player at all this time last year. Props to him for working hard and getting better.

I’ve been hearing so much about Isaiah likely this camp. If this all turns out to be legit then this season might bring up some really tough questions about him and Andrews.

And Todd monken is famed for adapting to his personnel. We love pat ricard, but that man needs to see the field less, and there needs to be more Emphasis on both of them as a receiving threat on the same play.

I think Monken alluded to having both MAndrews and Likely on the field at the same time more often. I don't see why not. I haven't kept up with camp, but it seems that he's picking up where he left off after filling in nicely with #89's absence.

the best teams in the NFL started using a lot more 12 personnel last year
we just "happen" to have 2 legit TEs on the roster right now

Zay and Bateman could eat with those 2 threatening to receive. Not paying attention to them would be a mistake for defenses, and Bateman is a guy who can take advantage of space with his separation, and Zay having room to run results in big plays.

I have no problem with losing clowney because I think it's highly unlikely he could replicate what he did regardless. Having maulet and Kyle as options in the slot plus Marlon makes us possibly the deepest we've ever been there. Not to mention all 3 of those guys are pretty good at blitzing, so I'm excited to see the looks. Everyone is going to have to throw outside the numbers on us but such a window with elite safeties. I'm really excited to see it
Ngl, maulet is ass. Great blitzer though

WR5 but especially WR6 is really weak on this team. Apparently Harty is lower than Tez on the unofficial depth chart. Ordinarily you say, you don't look at that trash it's meaningless. But in this case it's damning because a non first round rookie was higher than vet.

I mean to be fair, Harty is much more KR/PR than WR. Had one solid year of stats but he's more of a rotational/package guy than true WR depth.

But with that, you're not wrong. Have 3 guys you can trust to contribute pending health, a rookie, Tylan Wallace, and then a bunch of guys that are likely PS at best.

I'm actually convinced we're keeping 10 OL. Apparently Rosengarten was pretty bad today. Mekari is probably the honest to goodness best RT on the team right now. That hurts your depth flexibility and I think that's why you need 10

i think it's 5 WRs unless Harty wins the returner (which tbf he is the favourite as far as im aware)

i mean he will have bad days
it's training camp

not sure why rosengarten not winning the job means we'd have to keep 10 OL

if mekari's the RT it just means that if we have injuries we have a bit more shuffling to do - probably why they're looking at Cleveland at C too - just to see if that aids the flexibility for the OL 6, 7 and 8 who are active on gamedays

I don't disagree, although the Gage signing may change that.

You have Flowers, Bateman, Agholor, and Walker that are locks pending health. Harty seems to be the favorite for the returner job. After that, it was Tylan Wallace (who is still good on the coverage units) and a bunch of fringe level guys on the surface.

Feels like only 7 guys in the hunt
Would be a surprise if we kept all 7
