Likely to WR???? Why not???

Why not get Likely in the game with Andrews and Flowers? Maybe 2 TE look too or whatever but he is WAY too talented to just be sitting on the sidelines watching.....I don't like 2 TE look as much bc it can hurt spacing, but seems like it would be better than him sitting on the sideles gulping gatorade. Maybe put him in a slot? I would do whatever it took to get him a bunch of snaps :)

Players listed as TEs can line up in any WR spot you want to put them.

I think they're planning to use 2 TEs quite often because Likely is likely a more dangerous receiver than the WR3.

That sounds good, I would do whatever I could to get him on the turf

We honestly should be using Andrews inline and Likely as a big slot as a base package. Call it 12 personnel, call it 11, have 21 personnel variations, but it needs to be a thing emphasized.

The hard part is, we already have an extremely dangerous slot player in zay flowers. If Likely could spend some time lining up in the flat it would work extremely well, not sure he’s that guy, maybe he could be, but it would do a lot to let us use all our most dangerous receivers frequently

I think it’s probable Monken has the plan to have both on the field often and it’s going to be a nightmare for opponents.

zay was cooking on the outside by the end of the year
not worried about his usage

can also stack him and likely in a bunch with probably great effect

More like you’d like to have a guy who can win on the outside aside from zay because he’s an elite slot weapon and don’t wanna limit him positionslly by having Likely play all slot snaps

and both of them have a large percentage of their snaps in the slot and that's the reason they weren't used together much until Andrews went down.

Andrews has had lined up mostly in the slot for atleast the last two if not three seasons.

That’s what I’m getting at, the way they’ve been used together has not been adequate, and it would be elite of monken to cook up a way to make them both the receiving threats they are at the same time

Thought he looked weird when he ran and just didn’t understand how he got open at all lol

Then also had a horrible workout too
I thought likely looked weird as fuck on tape but dude was always making big plays. I liked him tentatively, definitely didn’t expect him to become what he’s become, I thought H-back kinda guy with moving blocks out of the backfield and a lot of swing passes and quick outs.
