Worst case scenario: The OL us trash and we can't get moving on offense. Zach Orr is given his biggest test all year out the gate and we're slow on Defense.

Best case scenario: The OL is good is pass pro and Derrick Henry is good enough to compensate for their deficiencies in the run game. The defense picks off right where it left off.

My prediction: We don't embarrass ourselves but we lose something like 24-13. I think we're just gonna need time to figure out our identity on offense. Having 60% new line and new RB is gonna have an adjustment period. On Defense, I expect Andy to target Simpson in much the way he targeted a young PQ who was struggling at the time.
 
Whoa, I lost my bet…

Soft revenge game, and as much as it means to Lamar, I think low key this is big revenge for Zay Flowers, who was having a monster game before his unfortunate rookie blunders.
 
The NFL works in mysterious ways.... I don't know how this game will go but after the BS pulled by Mahomes and Kelce with Tucker last year.... and the Zay Flowers fumble. 1 of three things will happen:

1) Zay Flowers catches the Game Winning TD and we win 27-24.

2) Zay Flowers catches the pass that puts us in Field Goal Range late tied at 24 and Tucker kicks the game winning FG to win it for us 27-24.

3) Derrick Henry goes off for 125+ yards and seals the game with a late fourth and Goal conversion to win the game. Ravens win 27-24 as the Ravens exercise the demon that has cost them in recent seasons, inability to close games and get conversions when needed.

Besides if this happens now no matter what we do from there the media will say, yea but burrow is the only one that can stop Mahomes Lamar is irrelevant. Well who am I kidding, if we win they’ll say yes but Lamar can’t beat Mahomes in the playoffs

Same exact thoughts on Simpson recalling the queen 2020 matchup. Guys will be in motion all day exposing his first step aggressiveness.

I'm sorry I'm going to miss this game because Lamar King Henry Flowers and Andrews are Likely to keep the Chiefs in their heels while Our secondary and do stuff them.
 
After the debacle known as the 2021 season, they made it clear that the starters are not gonna play in the preseason. It'll prolly be like forever lol.

2022 season opener: offense started slow and didn't really get going until the 3rd.

2023 season opener: offense started slow and didn't really get going until the 3rd.

I expect our offense to be no different. I worry who our RB2 is gonna be. Defensively, can Ojabo actually STAY HEALTHY FOR A FUCKING CHANGE? Will Oweh step up this season?
