Lamar Jackson, the Miscommunications, and the Refs

Just done the all-22 on the OL

Stanley looked great
Tyler looked great
Vorhees looked decent in pass pro
Faalele got got a couple of times but was ok (maybe a bit below average) in pass pro
Mekari was fine
RR got got on his first ever rep but did fairly well otherwise in pass pro

the running game is a mess - especially on that right side (no matter who the RT is)

there are some big positives to take out of the all-22 though... Stanley looks like he's back, Linderbaum is as good as ever still, Vorhees looks like he belongs and RR looks like he's on his way to developing the way we want him to

just this running game is gonna be an issue and idk if Faalele is gonna get better at it - his size just doesnt help him at RG in the run game based on that first sample and the combo of him and both of the RT options just doesnt seem to mesh well run-wise - faalele is just really struggling to move people off the ball which used to be his biggest pro as a RT option

Vorhees did much better than I expected. Faalele is a huge issue. He basically makes it so you can't run to his side and he's the worst puller I've ever seen.

id give him another game or 2 but if nothing changes id be all in on benching him for Cleveland (can't be worse - and in fact we've seen him do better)

That's the thing though. We've seen him be better. I'd make the right hand side Cleveland - Mekari this year. You can upgrade RG next offseason and Rosengarten can probably be the guy in year 2.

Anyone starting to worry?

He's done bro. Even the gimme kicks don't look clean anymore
lol, he ain’t done. I think a couple of those misses were outside 60, and a couple of others were blocked. If anything it’s taking time getting the new Wolf Pack back in tune. I’m guessing Tuck will be playing for another 6 or 8 years.

The Zay miss by LJ makes more sense now. Sounds like Lamar was initially looking at Bate and thinking Bate was going to stop … while simultaneously starting to see Zay come open… hence the throw that split them both. Frick man

Without Lamar this game is a Chiefs blowout. I believe if Likely was in we would have won this game with a 2 point conversion.

was a little worried last year - still think anything inside 50 is basically nailed on but it's hard to acknowledge the fact that ive not been confident in him for any of those longer range FGs for a while now
This is super sad the beginning of the end for Tuck. Seems like not long ago we were having this talk about Stover

I’m not sure why Tank laughed at this when Lamar confirmed it

It's crazy how even on a small board of Ravens fans there are consistently differing opinions. The crazy part is some of the time there will be a differing of opinion like this in the face of a literal fact lmao.

I wonder how he’d think Flacco would do Thursday night

Not doubting this could be the way it happened, but it makes zero sense to me that we’re consistently seeing these mistakes at the worst times from a 7th year vet who’s a 2 time MVP. It’s gotta change for us to have tournament success. I mean the athletic talent is obviously there, just some sort of mental block or something.
