The Refs, the OL, and the Coaching

Refs spotted the raiders points with the Madubuike facemask and 2 phantom DPI calls on Humphrey and Stephens... all those calls literally changed the score!

But we completely and utterly capitulated... 2 score lead in the 4th quarter. This is like 2022 all over again. And what is it about Minshew... he did it to us with the Colts last year too. Both times at M&T.

In the most important moments of the game, we fell apart. Offence, special teams... and coaching.

The right side of the OL looked so much better with Rosengarten on the field in those passing situations. Faalele gives up a massive sack late in the 4th quarter.
Bate with the interception.

Tucker missed again.
Stout shanked a punt late in the 4th quarter.
Kelly took a couple returns out that got stopped short.

Harbs making terrible challenges and wasting timeouts that we absolutely needed at the end of both halves (we lose a shot at the endzone to end the first half, and we lose 30 seconds of clock at the end of the game).

It took all of those things to come together to give the Raiders that winning FG and preventing the Ravens from having a legit chance to come back at the end.

And it wasted a dominant performance by this defensive front.

0-2 for the first time since 2015 is horrible.

Some answers required, especially with regard to the right side of the OL.

Depressing. I have a lot more thoughts but it’s time to hand the RT keys to Rosengarten and play anyone but Faalele at RG

This game just showed it should have been Cleveland and Rosengarten from the beginning

if we're gonna start 0-2 at least have it be related to developing a line that can hopefully be better at the end of the season

idk what Cleveland's done, but it can't be worse than what Faalele's doing to this offence

I disagree that the penalty on Madibuike changed much. Ojabo definitely had a penalty there. Wrong call as far as the penalty, but still absolutely a penalty.

I agree. He’s a step slow on literally everything with 0 improvement. He blew up multiple plays by just not being able to get to his mark.

The one thing I will say is roster construction was a failure.

The Ravens invest so damn much into the defense every year and way too much to allow 23 straight second half points.

And it blows my mind that they're bringing in Henry, but blowing up the offensive line. Like, huh? Poor scheme fit aside, why would you invest in a running back if you're not even going to have an offensive line?

The kicking game of stout and Tucker are trash now .

Stout was a wasted pick and Tucker is done . Put a fork in him

DeCosta negligently let our offensive line turn into trash

If I was Biscotti I’d change management next year

It legit boggles my mind that RR was not in the game longer. To an extent, the offense got it going in the 2nd half........kinda. Bateman can fuck right off though he had a nice catch to make up for what happened.

Defensively, they fell apart in the 2nd half. Like @rossihunter2 said, the defense felt like 2022 written all over it.

The refs can suck my dick. They were an absolute disgrace with a number of key calls. I'm glad 2015 has been referenced because the start to this season has some parallels to the start of 2015: Week 1 was a tough loss to the AFC West division winner while week 2 was a close loss to....................the Raiders who's offense went off.

Prior to the season starting, I had us getting a Wild Card spot. Truth be told, I was going back and forth between a Wild Card spot and missing the playoffs. I'm keeping the hope alive, but it's either we win next Sunday or the season may be over.

Fuck the Refs. That dpi in the end zone was absolutely bullshit.
Now that that is said, our defense played like absolute dogshit in the second half. How the fuck have we lost 11 games while leading by 10 points in the 4th that absolutely cannot happen

I agree. Said each and every one of those things in the offseason

The Raven's offense is pure ASS!
The Raven's offense is pure ASS!
The Raven's offense is pure ASS!

When the defense was balling out of their minds in the first half, the offense did NOTHING to capitalize on it!

and more to the point - stylistically he just doesnt seem to fit what they want to do on offence - his slow-feet are not a fit with what they seem to want him to do at guard in the running game and his processing and quickness off the ball are not good enough in the pass game

let Cleveland play

feels like stubbornness to persevere with this project now that we've seen what it looks like - could legitimately argue that this project at RG has cost us 2 games
