All I have to say is wtf did Roger do to get benched? What did Faalele do to not even get rotated with Cleveland? And finally what a shit rookie class in year 1. I have someeee hopes for years in the future but tbh not that high.

Nate I think will be a really good player.
RR same thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if legitimately none of the rest amount to anything at all
It sounds like it was the plan to rotate but then drive 1 went so well that they let Mekari and Faalele go back out. Drive 2 also went well and they said fuck the rotation. I still have long term concerns about both of those guys but it’s hard to argue it wasn’t the right choice for this game with how they played.

I think the coaching staff basically saw how bad the Cowboys defended the run against the Saints and as the game went on Rosengarten just wasn't needed especially since his run blocking isn't his strength and Mekari is a better run blocker than he is. Harbaugh stated previously that the starting offensive linemen at certain positions isn't necessarily set yet. So overall a guy like Cleveland just has to beat out Faalele if he wants the job and that starts in practice. If that's how they feel then i aint mad at it

I rewatched the highlights which granted don’t show the bs penalties, but man, what a sour taste it leaves. Should have been a game we see Josh Johnson, if we punted , do you think the defense doesn’t give up a TD, let alone a FG? Man

with Andrews, im not worried right now
he looked fine against the raiders and was blocking his ass off this week in the run game - think it was just a run-heavy game plan with more heavy type personnel called for
Even if I throw away this game and take his first 2 games and say he will average that over the season (so basically multiply his production by 8) you get 48 catches and 520 yards. That is half of what it should be.

It just seems like they are splitting up Andrews touches with Likely instead of making the passing game run through Flowers-Andrews-Likely and instead taking touches from others.

Justice Hill and Bateman should not have more targets than Andrews. The only excuse I can imagine is that they are so desperate for extra blocking, because the line is that bad, that they aren’t having him run routes.

Depending on the state of Andrews body and given how explosive Likely has shown himself to be, those guys might have to get the ball more.

If the Ravens were a true cuthroat organization they would have shaved Andrews' cap hit and rolled with Likely who is very clearly the better player by a wide margin at this point. If Kolar has finally come around then I'd go so far as to be pretty surprised to see Andrews around next year.

Andrews is the 5th option in this offense. Jackson/Henry/Likely/Flowers are the actual centerpieces now. Andrews/Hill/Bateman/Agholor are the complimentary guys.

panicking about the contributions of a rookie class 3 games in is wild lol

hamilton looked just as bad as wiggins (if not worse) at this stage as a rookie
linderbaum looked good but had issues with some big defensive tackles
Ojabo was injured
travis jones was barely playing
JAD was injured
Faalele was the 4th or 5th string OT
Stout sucked as a rookie
Pepe got benched
Kolar had a hernia
Likely was a preseason story that hadnt continued into the regular season
badie got cut

and now look at that class now
I dnt remember hamilton looking bad tbh.. maybe in practice according to news.. i dnt think wiggins look bad at all outside the penalties. You can see the confidence there, just gotta get a little bit more experience imo..

I dnt think likely is clearly the better player. Andrews is still nice.. i think its either our oc that cant get them both involved or its just hard for lamar to target both while getting pressured. Andrews is also getting doubled alot

I dnt mind bateman and hill having more targets. Bateman needs to get involved because he clearly can get open..Hill makes plays in space which is needed cause our oline isnt that good right now. I dnt mind monken but i just think with a better OC, our offense could look much much better

Does anyone else watch Bateman and feel like he brings his feet off the ground too often? I get sometimes he has too to grab a poorly placed Lamar ball, but I swear he is always looking to nearly cannon ball when the ball comes his way.

I think that's fair but tbh I was way more excited about that class than this one which I've been lukewarm on the whole time

Its clear as day to me, the Ravens have a top 5 TE on the roster and its not Andrews. Andrews can still be lethal in spota, but the guy they need to feed is Likely.

A lot of the Wiggins hate so far is coming from him giving up slants… on plays where he was assigned outside leverage and he had inside help, and on one of those 2 slants he came in and forced a fumble right after the completion.

It is quite wild how quick people on these boards turn on a first round rookie

I don't think people are turning on him. He had a rough game though beyond the slants. Hopefully nothing more than a learning experience.

I think he played well considering his missed practice. He had a turnover in the redzone and a near turn over the series before.

Welcome to the big leagues rookie

He has 8 catches on 13 targets including being responsible for that INT, and that is concerningly better than he has done the past 2 years. Andrews has 6 catches on 8 targets and lets remember one of those two non catches was the poor overthrow which was his only target of the week. For context Likely is holding the same catch % as Andrews on 12 catches on 16 targets and they are holding similar Y/C. That basically tells me that the top 3 weapons are Flowers, Andrews, and Likely. Flowers because if you can get the ball in his hands he can break one open at any time and Andrews/Likely because they are the high % receiving threats who can just get you a first down on every catch.

Also had a blatant PI and hold, and bit really hard on a curl. Not saying it was all bad but the tape was far more unkind than kind to him.
