2025 Baltimore Orioles

idk, but I hope they keep them and the colors. I like the Vegas colors with the Raiders' traditional black and silver and the Golden Knights with the black and gold, but I hope they hold onto the green and yellow and some of the old logos like the elephant. Those 70's teams the A's had with the wild colors and mustache crew were so cool to watch as a kid - then to my horror they were the O's kryptonite, yet I couldn't help but love the off balance personalities and look. When Reggie came to the O's I was so excited. Then he betrayed us and went to the evilest empire ever known to mankind... :)
A’s were the first to wear white cleats.

Mullins and Westburg activated.
Mountcastle expected to be out 2 to 3 months. damn

What a great lineup when healthy and hitting, no easy outs. Gotta cry thinking what could have been, but you never know, stranger things have happened.

Was at the game last night with two of my kids. My daughter has been wanting to go for a while, but we've just been too busy. So last night was the night. What a great night to get to a game. Not too hot, sunny, and lots of Orioles runs. Pretty fun game to see.

Our seats were in right-center field under the Jumbotron. That's the only part I didn't like. I really prefer sitting on one of the lines from the dugout up the line. It was super loud with the bass and speakers.

The only thing that was worrisome is the runners left on up until about the 6th inning. I think we had like 10 stranded at that point.

14-6 over the last 20 games. That's .700 ball. They'll never continue at that clip, but if they stay above .600 for the rest of the season, we are in the mix for a Playoff spot. That seems crazy for how utterly terrible they looked a month ago. 11 games out of 1st with these two series, Rays and Skanks, should tell us a lot. Last night was not a good start, tho.

It's Elias' fault. ;)

I don't know if they can can sustain the winning considering how short handed they are with the pitching staff injuries, but it's great to see them being competitive again.

Curious that Eflin looked so bad in Tampa, thought it would fire him up coming back there.

I really want to believe they can do it, but I think they need to be sellers and not try do anything drastic especially with more prospects. I feel like we've squandered the ones we've moved already. Sell every player whose contract is up at the end of the year and focus on FA.

We've been playing pretty well, but we just can't seem to pick up ground anywhere; even in the WC race. We're 11 games below .500 and I think that's the high water mark other than maybe the first few games of the season. And the injuries continue to pile up. WTF?! And or luck continues that the guys on IL are guys we would likely trade. When it rains it pours.

Just a very unfortunate run of injuries this entire season.

How do you lose 4 catchers to injury in a couple of weeks. Unreal.

Big boy Mets come to town this week, let’s see if we can keep up the good play against a contender.

Belated congrats to Ryan! He’s been a bright spot during an otherwise tumultuous season. Wonder if he gets a spot in the HR derby?

I want us to do well, but I want every player who's not going to be here next year traded for as much as we can possibly get. That would make for a good ending to a tough season.

Bryan Baker to the Rays for the 37th pick. That seems like a steal for us given how up and down he's been. But we should pay close attention to what the Rays do with him, because if they "fix" him, they get their value too and gives us insight to how their pitching coaches diagnose and improve pitchers.

Sinking like the proverbial stone. And sadly, the relievers who need to be traded are showing they're barely worth even a waiver level player. Soto couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last night. What a difference a few days make. Back to 12 games below .500.
