Idk. Maybe I'm just having such a visceral reaction to everyone saying JD was gonna take this team to the SB as a rookie. Like no he's not.
People were also saying he's basically Lamar.

He's not bad by any stretch of the imagination. But our defense sucks and he was not even in the ball park of Joe Burrow.

He's gonna get better and be a good QB. He's just not the second coming I saw 1000 times this week

Right now the only take is that he is the frontrunner for rookie of the year though with the easy stretch of 5 games Caleb is going to have (he literally faces all 5 of the worst pass defenses in the NFL consecutively) that might change things.
