Dean Pees is a pretty intelligent defensive mind. He legit hasn't been on the staff for that long and also Belichick and Ryan don't strike me as guys that want to be advisor. They probably making just as much if not more from what they are doing now. I still think Zach Orr will be ok but they definitely have to figure out to clean somethings out. I definitely think Arthur Maulett return should help

Underrated moment: Lamar calling zay off the field in the red zone because he didn’t want to let the defense sub and keep the heavies on the field. he saw something he liked and took charge of the team there, threw a td.

Harbaugh is letting Lamar do some Peyton shit, and it’s paying huge dividends. you love to see it.

Dont forget another TD pass to Godwin called back for a penalty that turned into a field goal. This was not a great defensive performance by any means. Nearly 375 yds allowed through the air and another 100+ on the ground....

Yeah but we were bleeding defensively before that first pick. This game was well on its way to being a shootout before that inexplicable throw just turned the tides. If they take a fg there we probably go score for score the whole first half

I’ve definitely defended Orr and wanted it to work but I think it’s time for a shake up a la 2012 with Cameron. I would hate to see the potential of this team wasted as Lamar wins another MVP but we’re bounced in the playoffs

I’m afraid of this Defense being our demise in the playoffs as well. It’s just not good enough right now and idk if the players or Zack Orr. I was thinking the same thing as far as shaking things up if they continue this performance down the stretch.
Do they destroy Zack’s confidence and give the defense to Pees? Highly unlikely, but we cannot go into the playoffs needing to score 40 points to win games.
