The Defence, the Turnovers, and the Tucker

I don't really know what to say. I figured we'd lose, just because that's the pattern. But we should have won, but that's part of the pattern too... that when we should, we don't. The better team won the game.

What I can't understand, and I know some disagree, but with 40 secs left in the half, after taking the lead with a TD and holding the Steelers to a punt, why didn't we just run the clock out there?! It might not be a popular decision, but for as poorly as we had played, we HAD THE LEAD at that point... even with 2 missed FG's! That's shocking to me.

I understand @SepticeyePoe 's point of giving Lamar a chance with time, but haven't we seen it enough that when we do something like this we fail more often than we succeed. And especially today with playing so poorly, don't you err on the side of caution there?

I'm sick seeing some of this stuff in sport nowadays. I get being aggressive, but being aggressive should not be used as an excuse for not winning. Scoring points and preventing points are still the game as much as limiting chances to score. I point to the Bungles on Thursday night going for the 2 instead of tying it and going into OT. I don't think a loss can be seen as acceptable merely because of being aggressive. It's still a loss when it didn't have to be.
I don't think that play call was aggressive, Likely just couldn't hold onto the ball. Just one of those days where everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

That was pretty depressing. The first half offense combined with unfortunaye refs in the same half seemed to break the offense thoroughly.
Rosengarten had a great 1st half when the rest sucked, but then stuck his head up his ass in the 2nd
Nice to see White with two great PDs, maybe there is some gas left in that tank. Overall the best game by the secondary all year.

The playcall on the 2 pt? Jackson having the ball in his left hand indicates it was a run all the way. But whyyyyyy? Run Jackson or Henry inside or roll Jackson right. That there is a dead-end play.
Monken is just too irrational on 3rd/4th/2pt downs

Deserved to lose this one, shot themselves in the feet too many times.

Even that deep shot to Nelson where he actually high pointed a ball and came down with it was reversed due to a penalty. Is this team serious?

Also none of Lamar's 3 INTs have even been remotely his fault. The things I'm sick of are being stupid as coaches and his teammates just letting him down.
Lol I'm so annoyed that Lamar gets credited with the int on that play

I can't imagine Goff is a serious candidate for the MVP, but this is absolutely a game where Allen can vault himself firmly into the lead.
I mean if Goff puts up a couple more games like today he will take it, being the one seed with insane numbers, but Allen could also take a lead today if he wins. The Ravens basically need to win the division, and ideally reach at least the 2 seed, in order for talk of Lamar getting his, deserved, 3rd MVP are to resume.

Someone fucked up, I think I read Agholar and another guy were arguing pre snap on where to lineup. So it’s a joke
If they were arguing about where to be, then that's not a practiced play and it has no business being called in THAT situation. Our coaches seem to fortify our impression that they are clowns with these constant miscues in big situations.

I knew this was coming. I know this team isn’t an actual contender. I’ve known it all along, but I lie to myself because hope is cope and I need that cope sometimes. But this year, our best case scenario is a wild card slot and an embarrassing exit similar to what we saw today. That’s all it will ever be, because this team is poorly coached, sloppy, undisciplined, beta males. Who the fuck, when losing a game against a division rival that owns you, starts fights after the snap over and over? That’s not intensity or assertive, do it between the fucking whistles, not after, you look like teenage fucking girls.

Lamar Jackson will not be winning a Super Bowl in this lifetime, because sadly he will be tied at the hip to Harbaugh forever, that said, Lamar has to be better against the Steelers, he is so bad against them and he’s out of excuses, it’s happened so consistently that it’s a clear case of them being his boogeyman, he’s scared of them, he panics against them.

The chiefs matchups are on harbaugh more than Lamar, the Steelers matchups are just as much on lamar as they are on harbaugh.

Ask Dak about what putting up great stats against garbage teams does for your MVP resume. I dont think a big game against one of the worst teams, if not the worst, in the NFL with a backup quarterback moves the needle at all.

Games like his 5 INT game against Houston are going to shine much brighter in the minds of voters.

Yea, I’ve pretty much conceded to the fact that Lamar will never win a Super Bowl while being “coached” by Harbaugh
