The Defence, the Turnovers, and the Tucker

Yup. The only question is whether its real or not. Wilson has a deathly fear of throwing in the middle of the field, which is where the Ravens weakness is. So it's tough to say whether he's the measuring stick for a defense fixing its issues.

yeah their offence does matchup generally poorly
want to establish the run and go play-action and get the ball deep and outside the numbers

ravens have been a good run defence and the pass defence has generally been weakest on intermediate routes over the middle

only obvious big change was the lack of major communication coverage busts

but it's definitely a positive - just have to see if they can start stacking and prove it wasnt just a good matchup

The more I think about this game the less Im concerned. Such a typical Pitt game in the Lamar era and one I have no doubt we recover from... however I'm starting to freak out about Tuck. He has slowly turned into a liability. Currently ranks 35th out of 40 qualified kickers in FGM %....

The offense was shit but they’ve carried us all season. I’m not gonna be mad at them unless this is a continuing trend. They’ve earned the benefit of the doubt.
I'd agree with this if we weren't playing the team ahead of us in the division in the 2nd half of the season. That was probably as close to a playoff game that you'll get at this point and the offense shit the bed as they have too many times the last several years in these situations.

per PFF

Tre White played 23 snaps of which 14 were in coverage and graded 83.3 in coverage, 81.8 overall.
So much for all the folks saying he wasnt quality depth

luckily we scored on this drive anyway so it was largely inconsequential

but the refs basically penalised mekari for tripping over his own OL and not getting up backwards while the play is nowhere near him

ridiculous penalty

I was SCREAMING at the tv over this one.

The rule sucks because the Chiefs and Bengals are the two least penalized teams in the league and are blocking downfield and just blocking period before their WR catches it, but we get called non stop

Who do you propose we replace him with? There have been a number of kicker injuries this year and teams have been cycling through those guys because they’ve all been shit as well. There are rarely quality Ks just sitting out there waiting to be signed.

This guy has who should replace Tucker.

Yea I’m sorry, Henry not on the field for a 2 pt conversion is blasphemy. Imagine if this is how we lose a playoff game, would be sickening. Why sign him ?
Not only that but the play design where you go to one side of the field and eliminate the other half. I know it was broken as it seemed a receiver was supposed to be over there as Lamar was looking for someone. Yeah, him not being out there for it to at least be a decoy to get someone else open or whatever is inexcusable by Monken.

Harbaugh saying how each play has certain personnel and the 2PT conversion called didn't involve Henry. Like WTF are we doing not having one of our best players on the field for that play?

Strangely I was listening to the Harbaugh presser today and when the questions got to Ojabo, suddenly it stopped.
Who?

The tape shows that was a designed run for Lamar. He was only looking to throw it because he didn't have the edge and there was no way he was getting to the end zone. Both Agholor and Likely were blocking from the onset.

I get that the players have to make the plays and it's not on Harbaugh for the Hill, Henry, and Likely fumbles. But it seems like this team looks for a reason to get disappointed early in these Chiefs and Steelers games. They can't match the physicality, and they don't challenge them with anything else. I'm not saying at all it was all Harbaugh's fault, but being 1-9 in the last 10 is ridiculous with the talent on the roster.
