The "We Finally Beat The Steelers," the King Henry, the fumbles, and the Pick 6

Also, major major shout out to Rosengarten. I get that Watt was playing with a bum ankle, but RR more than held his own against him.
I haven't ever been so glad to be so wrong about a prospect. I thought he wouldn't be strong enough but somehow he perfectly matches up against tj, who seems to dominate bigger stronger guys but Rodger's technique has held well against.

Random but Rodger use to fuck the roommate of my current girlfriend - so my senior year of college so I saw him in the kitchen once lol

I was just salty cuz he was a major reason we lost to Michigan in the natty

I don’t do any pro film study, but I watch some YouTubers from time to time, and I know Roger has been known to take a step for depth and then attack rushers wide, I wonder if that’s how he handles these ultra physical guys like watt, slow their rush before they can bring the rush to him, he doesn’t get in position and catch the rush he just gets out there and shuts it down early. Hard to put roger on skates if you can never build momentum against him.

RR's done well to mix up his sets which is always a great way to slow guys down in their rush by making their timing and strikepoints unpredictable

but as you say, has also been pretty good using quick sets and being aggressive to shut down some dangerous rush opportunities

but also, his anchor has generally looked good so far

I am now officially the Ar'Darius fan club president. Guided missile on the field, and the fumble was the play that swung the game. Also the tackle on one of the TEs in the open was beautiful, when taking down a guys much bigger and making it look easy.

Marlon keeps stacking big plays and Van Noy just shows up again and again.

Flowers is just everything that M Brown isn't. Tough little guy there too.

Henry is just amazing, love running over the hyped Steelers front, that has to sting.

I noticed Lamar broke his own passing TD record with two games to go. Such a special talent , especially for a running back :)

most importantly, it felt complementary... lamar threw a pick, defence had his back...
defence forced the fumble from russ and the offence drove 96 yards for a TD to punish

and on top of it all, maybe underrated because we didnt notice it...

only 2 penalties for 10 yards (+1 extra that was declined) - that's a much better recipe
I agree. I was also very happy we were pretty much penalty free.

He made a couple of throws yesterday that were primo, great touch. Still mixes in a head scratcher here and there, but they are becoming more infrequent.

Can't be stressed enough that having the threat of the run, both with Lamar and Henry, how that opens up the passing game. We really have a great, well rounded offense cooking right now.

In previous games it really seemed like we were targeted by the zebras, just so many ticky tack calls that haven't been called on others. It was good to se the officials stay out of the way yesterday and not ruin the game.

That’s probably the reason, I think it was $300 for upper deck
Cold and cost for sure but I’m surprised this one wasn’t sold out

Zay, you are a Raven
Bateman, you are a Raven
Kyle, you are a Raven
Henry, you are a Raven
and lastly......
LAMAR, YOU ARE A RAVEN.

These boys showed me something yesterday. Defense while allowing some easy shit down the middle created some turnovers and even scored on one. Henry got going early and while they struggled a bit the O-line was much improved from their last showing. There was something going on with that throw to Bateman that lead to an INT but cry me a river. Perfection is impossible and that was his 4th INT of the year. I saw what I needed to see. The team did not unravel after some adversity and we played a full 4 quarters. Lamar settled down after that and made that THROW to Zay
