Next Up: @ Texans

No Tank Dell to worry about. Brutal injury

So to me, how does our iOL play? Also, how often does BS guard Collins?

I would think we'd activate Keaton and get another RB for depth purposes.

Texans also lost DB Jimmie Ward to a foot injury and G Shaq Mason to a knee injury as well in the loss. Crucial losses on such a short week. They are beat up just in time for our game and for us to take advantage of it.
And that is what makes them dangerous to me. Plus, they are playing at home for that extra encouragement from their fans since that horrific injury to Tank Dell and a very distraught and emotional Stroud. Trauma like that has a way of bringing people together. So, the Ravens must go in there with an "I don't give a damn" mentality and wreck that place!

Keaton Mitchell was so explosive before his injury. I have to think he is not quite the same if Ali has jumped him on the depth chart.
Yeah this is an odd one. Either he’s not 100% healthy, or he’s got a mental block about running on that repaired knee, but based on what we’ve seen Ali has NO business being ahead of Mitchell unless he’s just not ready to return from that injury

Ali seems to have jumped him in the return game more than anything right now. I don't think they were worried about the RB depth chart when those guys are likely to play maybe a couple of snaps on offense if they're lucky. And Ali has provided a spark there, which means a RB4 is going to stay in street clothes.

With that being said, it does sound like Keaton is still dealing with some stuff and they knew that he likely wouldn't be back fully until next season. In a roundabout way, having him sitting out right now is keeping him healthier for a potential playoff push when you might actually need some of that spark.

I was thinking that too. An extra month where Keaton is focusing on healing could go a long way compared to getting banged up. We will gladly use him come playoffs time if he's got that juice

And who knows... pending when/if Hill recovers, maybe Keaton gets some more action. But the Henry and Hill formula is working so well right now that I'm not convinced they're worried too much about RB3 snaps until they're faced with an actual decision.

He's listed as RB3 on the latest depth chart on the Ravens website, and this article posted last night. Are you hearing different?

I don't think it matters. I think if there was a time where it necessitated another RB to get some carries, it would be Keaton. Right now, Ali is getting the nod because he's the better returner, which makes him the de factor RB3 on gamedays.
I hope Justice clears protocol by Wednesday but it seems doubtful. Dude was out cold.

Most players wouldn’t have that burst back only 1 year removed from the injury. How many times have we seen it where it takes 14-16 months for them to move like themselves again?
