Well first and foremost they have yet to find their next franchise Qb. It really all starts there. And if you plan on winning with replacement level play like Russ can give you then you better invest a ton of cash on FA and draft WAY above average to be a contender (see 49'ers, Eagles). The Steelers draft well but haven't hit enough home runs recently and rarely bring in top dollar from the outside either. It's a perpetually .500 roster that Tomlin is forced to "coach up" into a 1st rd playoff exit.

For the most part they feel like "MOST" of us that Tomlin is past his time to go. They feel the way we feel about Harbs. Good coach, but need a change starting with him.

I mean... its hard to hold a coach accountable when he helps below average rosters overachieve year after year after year. Those rosters haven't had a good QB in who knows how long. On our end we've had a 3x MVP QB on a rookie deal and multiple 1 seeds with juggernaut rosters.

Those aren't the same.

Ravens have had a top 5 roster about 3 of the last 6 years and the ones we didn't were mostly because of cluster injuries. Pitt's offensive talent has been bad for a while now. Mediocre to awful Qb play, replacemnet level rb's/te's Olines. Great Wr's that that don't get 2nd contracts cuz they are all head cases.

I agree they're not the same, but I was alluding to the sentiment being the same. They feel like Tomlin needs to go just like most of us want Harbs gone.

Tomlin hasn't had a losing season but haven't won a playoff game since 2017? Even overachieving with those rosters they fall flat in playoffs and we know how we have failed in the offs too even with stacked roster i.e last year.

That’s why I feel Tomlin is a better coach than Harbs.

I’d take Tomlin over Harbaugh any day. He’s clearly a better coach who players have more respect for, he gets more with less, while we underachieve with more. The Steelers problem is the same problem we thought we would face in the flacco extension era, too competitive for a high draft pick therefore we won’t find a franchise qb, we lucked out when 31 teams wouldn’t pick Lamar, the Steelers haven’t had that same luck. We had a “franchise qb” in those days and still couldn’t make the playoffs, they’ve been able to make the playoffs no matter who’s at qb.

If Kenny Pickett turned out to be the guy, no Steelers fan would feel this way.

They are forced to go with vanilla run first coordinators because of their lack of a qb, so it looks like a coaching failure, in reality they have a washed qb who’s only good throw is the lowest percentage throw in football, they have the slowest rb in the league who they spent a first on, and they are a defense first team. That’s a front office failure all the way.

The Steelers have typically very good defenses and have matched up well with us.

Yep. I'm surprised that Warren isn't RB1 for them. Seems that he's the more explosive RB between him and Harris.
 
I have officially taken my fork out of Orr and placed it next to by beer stash which was being heavily consumed earlier in the year
watching our D play.
Since I have gout , i would like to thank Orr for helping my condition.

After going around to other forums I can safely say this is the best looking one in the NFL
