With Black Monday around the corner, it’s time to start this thread for 2025.

Vacancies already for:

Bears
Saints
Jets

Situations to monitor (some more likely than others):

Jags
Cowboys
Giants
Raiders (again)
Pats (again)
Colts

Other situations to keep an eye on:

Eagles (if they unexpectedly crash out)
Titans

Todd Monken has had some HC buzz throughout the season. Doesn’t strike me as a Mike Macdonald hot candidate but it only takes 1 team/owner to fall in love with him.

There’s a bunch of big names in the cycle this year although belichick is out. Vrabel, Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Kliff Kingsbury, Pete Carroll are some of the names being thrown around.

EDITED LIST OF CURRENT VACANCIES (AND CONFIRMED HIRES):

Chicago Bears - BEN JOHNSON
New Orleans Saints -
New York Jets - AARON GLENN
New England Patriots - MIKE VRABEL
Jacksonville Jaguars - LIAM COEN
Las Vegas Raiders - PETE CARROLL
Dallas Cowboys - BRIAN SCHOTTENHEIMER

I don't think the Pats will be looking for a coach this offseason, unless they go the Vrabel route.

also, I'd add John Gruden to the mix of hot candidates as his name has been thrown around by multiple teams.

You all forgot Jon Gruden as a hot candidate to add to the list as his name has been thrown around by multiple teams.

I know the Jets can't interview anyone still under contract but it's not a good sign when you are interviewing a bunch of failed Head Coaches. Rex Ryan is apparently getting an interview... guess they want to run it back with Rex.

Did the Jets forget that John Gruden is a hot candidate as well?

Browns being the Browns. If they fire Kevin Stefanski on Monday, it will be the most Cleveland Browns thing to do.
