The AFC North Champs, the interceptions, and the Flowers

I know I'll be in the minority here but that was an ugly win by us. Tons of visions of all of our prior demons. And because of that, we couldn't pull starters and Zay is likely out at least 1 week.

Penalties
Brandon Stephens
OL playing poorly for large stretches
Completely ineffective run game 1st half
So many dropped passes

What's Lamar to do? I just constantly see a cast of characters (players and coaches) that surround him and just shit the bed. They don't rise to the occasion and Lamar takes the blame.

Not excited to play Pitt. They fucking suck. Awful team really, and yet I don't have a lot of confidence in us. I'd have had a lot more vs LA

Lamar can't come out slow next week. Can't miss that throw he did to Andrews early. We do not want to be in a tight game with these bums to start next week. Tomlin loves that trash. Get the lead early and apply pressure. They play to their ability we should be resting guys in the 4th. Agree with most of what you said though.

With us officially clinching the division, this means our opponents for the 2025 NFL Season are set. The Rams will come to Baltimore as the 17th game and we once again head back to Arrowhead to play KC.

Home: Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Patriots, Jets, Bears, Lions, Texans, Rams
Road: Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Bills, Dolphins, Packers, Vikings, Chiefs
Fucking Chiefs on the road again.

I was pretty fucking disgusted with the game, because we should have been absolutely running them off the field. We had a big lead from the very beginning, yet we kept going for it in the red zone, it ended up taking 9 points off the board and kept our starters in for a whole quarter longer than necessary. If the browns had any semblance of qb play, we would have paid dearly for all those 4th downs. If we pull that bullshit in the playoffs, we will lose.

I REALLY dont want Pitt. 2 straight AFC North games is probably a little too much physicality to be ready to make a deep playoff run.

Edit: Its also 3 out of 4 so that would be rough.
Nah, give us the hard games. I don’t want easy opponents. I want the opponent that knows how to play against us and forces the coordinators to game plan and challenges the players to play their best. Make us get off the goddamn bus and take the game personal.

Maybe I should be happy we went for it on fourth a few times and didn’t convert. Maybe Harbs will think twice about it now in the playoffs, although that is probably wishful thinking and Tucker has been struggling this year.

That’s exactly who we should see. Enough of the easier teams. We need to beat these type of fronts with more consistency
Yes but if you are too beat up to make a run that is a problem. One team being beat up by AFC North games against a well rested team is not a good recipe.

They definitely didn't look focused but ill give Lamar at least one excuse: That wind and cold were brutal yesterday. Probably more of the same next week, gotta establish the run early

I need to see Lamar look more comfortable in freezing cold weather and I don’t think that’ll ever happen. It worries me.
I think it starts with him running the ball early and often to get settled in.

Yeah, not the best passing performance yesterday. Hopefully much better next week and after, we’re gonna need it.

Well its going to be very cold here all week with a big snowstorm coming in tomorrow.
I hope its a blizzard so i don't have to teach Monday or Tuesday lol

We covered a 20 pt spread brother, calm down.

I definitely prefer to play Pitt than Chargers. Give me the team that has lost 4 straight (and failed to score >17pts), no brainer. Mathematically I also prefer having to take 2/3 from Pitt than sweeping Chargers 2/2.

I don't expect to see Zay back until the AFCCG. Good news is Hill and Agholor should be back and Keaton Mitchell flashed that top end speed for the first time. We can beat Steelers and Buffalo without him.

BTW, as a side note, the Chargers are the biggest problem for KC in rd 2 since it's the dreaded 3 game sweep of a divisional opponent they have only beaten by 9 pts in 2 games.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that Jackson actually has a reaaly good record in the cold, but bad in windy games. Since I can't find the source, take it with a grain of salt.

I don’t have a stat for it, but I’ve read somewhere before that a division rival who sweeps in the regular season and sees that team a third time in the playoffs, wins the third game an overwhelming majority of the time

No more tight @$$holes and choking in the tournament. Everyone needs to play their best when it means the most.
