Next Up: vs Steelers (Wild Card Round)

Bill Cowher said 4-1 playoff record in favor of Steelers but isn’t it just 3-1? I remember Grback lost, then AFCCG and division game choke. But that’s it

I actually feel pretty confident in a Bate/Nelly/Tylan/Tez situation against Pitt. Well really need Zay back against the Bills though if that’s who we face

Expose the middle with Mark and Likey and pound that fucking rock as much as possible. Yea it sucks Zay will probably be out, but not the end of the world against a lesser opponent in the Steelers. Take care of the ball and play great defense and we move on regardless of the weather

The closer this game gets the worse I feel about it. Snow would favor Pittsburgh as the Ravens passing offense is more dynamic. It also favors the more physical team, which Pittsburgh is way more physical of a team. I hate to be negative, but I do think the Ravens get bounced round 1 and Lamar will be cemented as a playoff choker.
I understand why we’re jaded as a fanbase but it’s truly amazing to me the stark contrast in optimism between us and Bengal fans, who have never won anything. If they got in 99% of their fans would be acting like they’re the far away favorite. Meanwhile we have many scared shitless to a pathetic Steelers team when we set records again this year

different team and the last time the Ravens won on the famous Thigh interception and that was a decade ago.

and you're only talking WRs. Lets not forget Andrews, Likely, Kolar and Ricard.

The Lamar era has always had a key offensive piece get hurt before the playoffs. Fuck the Browns and this division

Is he any better than Anthony Miller at this point? His stats with the fish was worse than horrible
No i don't think he is. Only bringing him in because he knows the team and seems to have a great relationship with Lamar. Outside of that I'd think of him as nothing more than depth, but maybe he catches fire for one last super bowl run and can make a few impact plays

Wow it really was a decade ago, feels like just a couple years

I'm expecting an all-pro performance from Faalele. After all, I was told that he was owed an apology so if that's the case, I should increase my expectations for him. Them's the rules.

We have had 315 pressures, which includes hurries, hits and saks. 56 of those have been sacked so we have had 259 pressures that didn't result in a sack.
Good to know, but I don't know why I watch us play and constantly think, "WHERE IS THE PRESSURE. THEY HAVE ALL DAY!". Was a feeling, I guess.

You aren't wrong in that it's been inconsistent though. Think they started strong, faded starting like week 4, and then have really improved as of late. I think the secondary finally settling in has allowed the pass rush to get going a bit more as well.

Steelers were just crying about the snow against the Browns

Steelers gonna stunt on his ass. Get him lost in space

certainly seen a bunch more line games and simulated pressures upfront too which always help when you have great athletes in the front 4 (which we do)

Yeah we seemingly started the season that way and then pulled back with all of the secondary issues. Seems Orr has gotten to a point over the last few weeks where he feels comfortable calling those again.

Watching an ILB plow into a pile just to free someone else up has been a staple (and very enjoyable to watch).

Man I need monken to seriously cook something up with the 2 TE set. Zay out, possible snow game, Derrick Henry, you NEED to get the ground game going with the 2 te set and then pass out of it. We have mark Andrews and Isaiah likely and one of the greatest power backs of all time, and still have a starting WR, we absolutely should not take a big hit from zay flowers being out, obviously he’s a weapon, and you’ll miss him, BUT we have more than enough to make it work without him.
While it was coincidental, the offense actually looked much better after Zay went out. We have weapons aplenty.
