The King, the Lamar, and the 3rd Quarter

Outside of the 3rd quarter, this was a total domination.

Offence only scored 1 TD in the 2nd half, but that ignores the fact that they ran almost the entire 4th quarter off the clock in 2 drives and approached 500 yards of total offence.

Defence was mostly stout except for those 2 scoring drives. Outside of 1 screen, all the steelers had were some deep heaves to the outside (mostly attacking Stephens as per usual).

Oweh and Madubuike came up big in big moments to wreck some steelers drives that might have made this closer late.

Was an uncomfortable win despite being up 2 scores. In reality it was probably never really close.

Henry and Lamar went off in the running game. Only thing stopping 300 yards of rushing on the night was the kneel down at the end.

Feels good to send the Steelers home.

Just hope Lamar's back is ok.

Not our best game by any means and it was still a blowout. And that was down Zay. If we can just get and stay healthy, we've got a shot at a run. Need to play our brand of ball.

Crazy what happens when you run the ball
And utilize Lamar and Henry to their full potential

Good win that was not as close as the 28-14 score indicated. That game was never really in doubt.

For the next, hopefully, 9 days though I am a Broncos fan.

If our defense plays like we played in 3 quarters tonight, if our offense plays like it played in the first half, it’s over for everyone.

That wild low streak we’re prone to is such a scary thing because I just don’t ever feel safe from it.

Mama Jackson should be Super Bowl MVP when we win it. Since she chewed out Lamar, Lamar has been a different player.

Easy win but the too conservative run the clock out plan allowed the Steelers to creep into the game. Hope we don't try that against a real offense if we get ahead next week.

I’m really pumped for Lamar. It’s just one game, but it’s a huge step in the right direction to erase the narrative that he can’t handle the playoffs. He looked calm, cool
and collected tonight. Very much in control
