The King, the Lamar, and the 3rd Quarter

Shout out to RR. WOW man....just WOW.

My Tylan Wallace agenda will continue. When the ball is in his hands he's a tough SOB to take down and would like to see more of him.

Lamar and Henry sent a message to the Steelers with that drive where they went 13 straight runs was OUT of control.

My issue was the 3rd quarter. Thought we let off the foot there especially when they started to do better with the run game. Running on second and long with Hill etc. Thought we would open up the playbook a bit and get the TE's involved more.

Speaking of TE, Likely is a dog and that stiff arm got me off my seat. He might be next up and poised for a monster post season/next season regular season.

THE BITCH SLAP

I been saying for weeks that teams figured out stephens dont look for the ball and i now wonder will this make our defense less dangerous since we are basically forced to have a S over top of him now. Crazy to think that every thing was basically kept in front of steelers and they still couldnt stop is. We need to keep likely involved even when zay comes back and also let keaton run the ball cause justice just doesnt look good on run plays

Enormous yikes

no it isnt lol

it's year 1 of a rookie class - it's frustrating that a guy like tez isnt contributing at a position that lacks depth

but Tampa's stuck at a position with a bunch of depth
Isaac's not going to get snaps ahead of KVN or Oweh as a designated rusher especially with some injuries
the 2 safeties were special teams and developmental picks
Samac's a backup interior OL
rasheen ali has contributed as depth

if they're all not contributing in 2 years time still then fair enough - but these guys are rookies and mostly day 3 picks - typically those guys dont contribute much in year 1

in 2023, only 10 of 157 day 3 picks started 8 or more games... it was 16 of 158 in 2022

That’s been a hallmark of Tomlin’s time there. Dirty ass MFers. I remember Joey Porter shoving Todd Heap to the ground before a play when Todd was injured and could hardly stand up. I wanted to jump out of the stands and beat Porter’s ass.
Been around since before Tomlin. They were dirty under cowher, they were dirty during the steel curtain.

Whenever Greg Roman defenders would talk about Roman, it always centered on the running game and the high scoring offense. If you ever asked about the passing game, they got REAL quiet.
Man, the number of times where we saw our pass-catchers run the same route while being close to each other was maddening. His route concepts were tough to watch at times.

I don't think anyone brought this up (apologies if someone did and I missed it), but this has to be the first game in the Lamar era where our offense didn't turn the ball over ONCE against the Steelers.

Not looking for starters. That's way too much of an ask.

Adisa is a pretty bad pick, especially at 3rd round. Big overdraft imo independent of seeing him not get on the field. If he had any juice at all, he'd be able to steal some of Robinson or Ojabos snaps.

Tez is a big wtf. We actually needed depth and his skillset in particular and he's behind Sims???

Ali is probablyyyyyy not an NFL RB or an RB3 at best.

Tampa is stuck and was hurt so no opinion long term.

Samac and Kane you should have no expectations on.

Ultimately your first 2 picks were absolute home runs. Your mid picks look real bad and I only really have any hope for Tez being a depth guy. Your end picks, we'll see if they can stick on the roster.

I just feel EDC is extremely good at finding the sure things and is just so blegh beyond that.

people downplaying this win on social media suck. Idc if the Steelers are struggling, winning a playoff game is a huge accomplishment and even better beating the shit out of your rival.
