The King, the Lamar, and the 3rd Quarter

This is solely my thought... but I think he's the clear RB3 right now but he's just that, RB3. They love the Henry and Hill combo and I don't think they're looking to take those guys off the field much.

think zrebiec mentioned this week that he's mentally and physically not fully back yet so it's less that they're saving him and more that they're working him back slowly

Doesn't trust the knee? He's looked fast in limited action. Maybe he can't even take a full workload of RB3 snaps.

That too. Think if they absolutely had to go to Keaton or Ali as a RB, Keaton is the runaway preference in the win or go home stage. Just don't see him getting much run unless a certain word I won't say necessitates it. Depth this year and see where he stands next year.

it seems like it may be lack of trust more than anything - he probably needs to break one and feel good to get that feeling back and not sure that's going to happen in the season

no harm in taking it slow with the guys we've got

Been around since before Tomlin. They were dirty under cowher, they were dirty during the steel curtain.
I think there were a lot teams and players that were dirty in earlier eras, not just the steelers. Rules were much different.

I also still am unclear, outside of garbage time, what his role really is. Hill is clearly defined as a pas catcher. Meanwhile, Henry has both speed and power. It’s hard to identify what his niche suddenly is.

people downplaying this win on social media suck. Idc if the Steelers are struggling, winning a playoff game is a huge accomplishment and even better beating the shit out of your rival.

It's funny cause all before our game they talked that kryptonitw shit and Lamar playoff narrative. Now it's just Pitt. Bad team. Losing streak. Seeing how everything turned out in glad we had the drops game against them last year and that fluke game they won earlier.

Hines Ward is one of the dirties players in the last 25 years

2011 was pure bliss. The JJ hit and Ray laying his out in the rematch.

Also what was up with Lamar in the Amazon Post Game show saying he didn’t run last year in the AFC Championship more because of the field?

@rmcjacket23 where you at big dog? I said 70/30 split and you were giving me shit.
Last night:
Rush: 70.4%
Pass: 29.6%

Standing by for your response tomorrow at work lol

He'll say it was because it was working and also a lot was from Lamar. Both of which are true. That being said, I agreed with you, a run heavy gameplan was pretty fucking obvious ahead of time.
