Next Up: @ Bills (Divisional Round)

Game day weather: Feels like 15, 0% chance of precipitation. Minimal wind. This is best case scenario as it currently stands
If it stays that way, cool. Snow would be a factor because we rarely, if ever play in it and it’s a regular thing in Buffalo.

I just like how even though Houston is playing the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, and Taylor Swift weren't enough of a pull to move the Texans into any other time slot but 4:30PM on a Saturday lol. All of their playoff games has been in the same time slot, the same day every single time.

It’s an obvious choice… Viewership wise that’s the toughest game so you put KC and the Swifties there to try to pump up the numbers. Plus half Kelce’s fans have to be in bed by 9.

I’m interested to see how Henry does this game. I’ve seen stats floated around the Bills forum how Henry hasn’t done well against them in Buffalo. I think there’s always more to it then numbers but wondering why that is

Logistically, it makes the most sense though. The MNF football winner has to play on Sunday to avoid only 5 days rest. And you're obviously significantly fucking over the Bills if you make them play the early game Saturday (which also makes no sense from a marketing standpoint).

So the only choice you have is either Texans/Chiefs or Lions/Commanders. And Commanders just played road night game. So from a rest/competitive advantage standpoint, having Texans/Chiefs in the Sat afternoon slot makes the most sense.

He's only played them twice in Buffalo

2018 11 attempts for 56 yards (5.1 ypa)
2022 13 attempts for 25 yards (1.9 ypa) - 1 TD

Once the Texans won their game, the Chiefs Texans game was the only game I was absolutely certain would be on Saturday and figured it would be the early game as well. Had a feeling the Lions would also play on Saturday as well.

I thought they'd put the two AFC games on Saturday, with us in the late slate. But I don't think there was a scenario where at least two teams weren't playing on a day shorter of rest.

I also don't know if the "politics" of which network gets which game is a factor, i.e. I don't know if FOX and CBS get their first choice because they pay gigantically more $ than ESPN/NBC do. Because its not hard to see which game CBS would want and probably what time slot they'd want.

I really hope Zay Flowers returns. This is not the same Bills team we played earlier in the season. They're running the ball very well and while they don't have a star receiver they do have a collection of contributors.
What happened to Amari Cooper ? Just seems like he hasn't been all that productive for the bills and wonder if hes been playing hurt or something

He hadn't done well against the Steelers until he did. Just feel like their front 7 does not favor them in this matchup. I've been wrong before though. OL shows up like they did Saturday then I don't see any team beating us.

We definitely going to need to have the OL solid to win this for Lamar and Henry. I strangely don’t know if this comes down to defense so much as whichever offense scores last

They're reaching for straws while shitting their pants watching The King's highlights from the last couple of weeks.

Team needs to show up again this week. That Ro speech to the team before the game last week was incredible. I know they said there are 3 more games, but they can't look forward past Josh Allen or he will kill you. You can't expect the same team in week 4 who fell over after the 2nd quarter last time. Buffalo will be a loud intense environment and communication will be key. Ravens defense needs to make some adjustments if their own fans caused that miscommunication last week.
