The Running Game, the Turnovers, and the Same Ol’ Ravens

Sigh… why do we care about this stupid little game so much :(

Hope it’s nothing too severe brother
I gotta get my shit together man. I take responsibility.. was getting tailgated BAD while already obviously pissed and confronted them. Best part is it happened in my apartment complex so here’s to hoping my tires aren’t slashed when I go to my car tomorrow. Ravens games plus California drivers just don’t mix well. Still though, stupid of me

I found out I have cancer last Wednesday, I am taking this loss a lot worse. Was hoping for something to lift my spirits, I aint mad just wasn't to be. Through all the mistakes we made we kept coming back but the last drop we never got a chance to atone for, the meltdowns after one mistake are what got me heated. Picking one target to lay blame is pretty unfair for Mandrews just because the time it happened. Pretty of blame to share around with this one.

Now I get to look forward to some [profanity deleted] sticking a camera up my clacker tomorrow.
Stay positive my brother, I’m sure you’ll beat it. Prayers with you!

How are you doing? You good?
Not great but like… me my wife and kids are in relatively good health and have a roof over our heads so I guess I’m alright

One income households just aren’t the move in 2025 and I’ll leave it at that. Been at this shit for a long time and my mental health has been circling the drain for a while now because of this. Work a pretty physical trade and now my body is starting to break down at 33.

American dream man.

These guy's make millions to play a game all we do is spend money in tickets, sunday ticket, memorabilia, jerseys, etc.. what do we gain when they win? Besides temporary satisfaction and bragging rights.

I guess we need to keep in perspective this is just entertainment and not let it affect us this much. I'm preaching to myself here..

You’re absolutely right. I love this team and my life does somewhat revolve around them, but at the end of the day it’s merely a game. Sure I’m gutted tonight, but tomorrow will come and I’ll largely be over it. I tend to realize that there was nothing I could have done to change the outcome. I want to see my team win but if they don’t, it is what it is.

I love the Ravens but there are other things in life I get just as much enjoyment out of, so onto the next thing.

What’s their problem, they have to know what’s going on
Haha maybe if I had my Ravens license plate frame on they’d cut me some slack

That dopamine hit is huge though

100%. And it’s like I look for the fights too, scouring social media and getting into it with other fans and then end up getting all butt hurt for something I can’t even control

mood.

Having two polarizing QBs in a row and constantly feeling like I have to defend them has made this sport miserable for me man

This loss hurts but I am happy how they kept fighting in the second half. Lamar had a rough first half but made the throws at the end under pressure, hopefully a confidence booster for him, kinda like 2011 was for Flacco.

Tough break at the end there but that is how the playoffs work at this level, just ask Buffalo last year in the divisional. Or us in 2011.

I will say that going into Buffalo without our top WR and giving them a game is a nice moral victory but this is still a disappointing result. Ravens were just their own worst enemy this year with early losses hurting seeding and some sloppy play in the first half they couldn't dig out of. Hopefully they can break through next year.

> Lamar needs to fix these costly turnovers in playoff games. The play where he fumbled it, he should've just taken a sack. Instead he tried to make a play when one could not be made.
> Mark Andrews may have played his final game as a Raven. I honestly hope this is it for him here. He's been the biggest choke job on this team in the past seven seasons honestly. His costly turnovers and drops in these big games have stacked up enough and its holding us back from giving the #1 TE spot to someone who is better in Likely. He deserves blame of the game, I never seen a non-QB ever sell so badly here. I know Cundiff is up there but he cost us a fumble which Buffalo cashed in a FG on and drained the clock with, and then had a costly drop that even frustrated Lamar.
> That DPI call on Tre White was Bullshit. Gifted Buffalo a Touchdown.
> We suck at 2PT conversions. I think we're 1/5 this year? Awful.
> Bateman played great, really proud of what he's done for us this year.
> We missed Zay Flowers today. Our passing game does not look good when he's not out there.
> Linderbaum did not perform well today, had a terrible snap and allowed penetration multiple times.
> OL did get better in the second half, but they were terrible in the first two QTRs.
> Defense could not force a turnver, and honestly I'm just not impressed with that units performance. They got man handled on the ground game.

All in all, this team's identity is playing great in the regular season and choking in the playoffs. Lamar Jackson will have 3 MVPs, but no Super Bowl appearances. That's just sad to think about. I don't blame any fan who becomes pessimistic next year no matter what we're doing.
