Ravens Ring of Honor
Raiders and Browns losses fuckdd us
Oh man what a sucker punch. That absolutely sucks.I found out I have cancer last Wednesday, I am taking this loss a lot worse. Was hoping for something to lift my spirits, I aint mad just wasn't to be. Through all the mistakes we made we kept coming back but the last drop we never got a chance to atone for, the meltdowns after one mistake are what got me heated. Picking one target to lay blame is pretty unfair for Mandrews just because the time it happened. Pretty of blame to share around with this one.
Now I get to look forward to some [profanity deleted] sticking a camera up my clacker tomorrow.
This is the only thing I would possibly put on coaching tonight. No doubt in my mind that it was the players the dropped the ball (literally and figuratively). But at what point is the same thing happening over and over a problem beyond the players? It shouldn’t be panic and mistake mode every time we have a good team and this stage of the season, but that’s been our reality for quite awhile now.It can only be psychological and idk that that gets fixed
That’s where I do wonder about Harbs - is the whole bible preacher shtick actually effective as a motivating tool
I think as a motivator Harbaugh has been good, there was definitely some turmoil in the locker room earlier in the year they weathered and the Ravens came out in the second half and made it a game. I think the time to make a call on Harbs was last year with a good candidate in the waiting but think he is my guy for next year.It can only be psychological and idk that that gets fixed

Lamar played good man, it’s bullshit. In the end without his two best WRs 95 yard drive, and before that Andrews screwed him too . It hurtsHaving two polarizing QBs in a row and constantly feeling like I have to defend them has made this sport miserable for me man
This loss hurts but I am happy how they kept fighting in the second half. Lamar had a rough first half but made the throws at the end under pressure, hopefully a confidence booster for him, kinda like 2011 was for Flacco.
Tough break at the end there but that is how the playoffs work at this level, just ask Buffalo last year in the divisional. Or us in 2011.
I will say that going into Buffalo without our top WR and giving them a game is a nice moral victory but this is still a disappointing result. Ravens were just their own worst enemy this year with early losses hurting seeding and some sloppy play in the first half they couldn't dig out of. Hopefully they can break through next year.
Damn I'm sorry man. That's rough to hear. Not great but like… me my wife and kids are in relatively good health and have a roof over our heads so I guess I’m alright
One income households just aren’t the move in 2025 and I’ll leave it at that. Been at this shit for a long time and my mental health has been circling the drain for a while now because of this. Work a pretty physical trade and now my body is starting to break down at 33.
American dream man.
And that's why for me, you take a swing at an offensively minded younger coach. I just don't think Harbs is bringing a lot of positive. I think he's just bringing no negative. It’s just annoying that we come away feeling that just like 2019 and 2023, this is a game we win 9 times out of 10.
But somehow it’s always the 1 time.
I think it would be extremely tough to move on for that reason - this was a good team that overcame a lot of shit to get where we are now, and you can attribute a lot of that to good and tough coaching decisions.I think as a motivator Harbaugh has been good, there was definitely some turmoil in the locker room earlier in the year they weathered and the Ravens came out in the second half and made it a game. I think with 2019 they kinda gave up towards the end and just got beat by a hungrier team. 2023 they panicked after they got down. This time they actually got back into the game and Lamar made the throws to tie it up. They dug themselves too much of a hole but I do at least see progress. It’s just annoying that we come away feeling that just like 2019 and 2023, this is a game we win 9 times out of 10.

So here's my questions how does allowing penalties to be challenged (like the CFL does) affect the sanctity of the game? How does having a sky judge (like College football) affect the sanctity of the game? How does letting us listen to the refs make decisions on challenges (like the XFL did) affect the sanctity of the game?100%. The optimist in me says it's what you said about the sanctity of the game. The cynic says it's so you can manipulate outcomes.
2019 felt like a team that played with too much cockiness. 2023 felt like a team that way overcorrected that 2019 feeling. 2024 felt like a team in the sweet spot, but just crumbled under the pressure yet again just trying not to replicate either of those years.I think with 2019 they kinda gave up towards the end and just got beat by a hungrier team. 2023 they panicked after they got down. Reffing is my biggest problem with football as a whole right now. As you alluded to at the end, we have all of the technology in the world to get things right, but for some reason they’re hellbent on protecting the sanctity of the game by letting a bunch of old geezers make calls in a rapid paced game. Getting it right is much more important to me than letting the human side of thing sway decisions.
Yeah I think the best one would be Ben Johnson but also I do like our offense and it is kinda hard to look bad with as much talent as Detroit has on offense(I mean 2013 Broncos made Adam Gase look good).I think it would be extremely tough to move on for that reason - this was a good team that overcame a lot of shit to get where we are now, and you can attribute a lot of that to good and tough coaching decisions.
There’s no one out there I’d be pining for in this years coaching circles either.
Baseball is dealing with the same thing. It’s the “tradition” of the game they keep harping on. It’s how it’s always been done so why change it. Why they hand their hat on officiating while changing every other things beats me, but that’s always the excuse. So here's my questions how does allowing penalties to be challenged (like the CFL does) affect the sanctity of the game? How does having a sky judge (like College football) affect the sanctity of the game? How does letting us listen to the refs make decisions on challenges (like the XFL did) affect the sanctity of the game?
I'm with you totally. I think that it's an old excuse and it's time for modernizingSo here's my questions how does allowing penalties to be challenged (like the CFL does) affect the sanctity of the game? I hate harbaugh but this one wasn’t on him
Is that just a QB thing or overall? Haven't looked into it too much(probably will change for the forum mock) but hoping there is some good talent in the trenches
